Huge menu with lots of great flavors

I've been here several times now, and I will keep coming back. The menu is huge, which actually makes it hard to decide (especially when I'm used to choosing from just a few vegan options). I recently tried the mango curry, and it was fantastic. The meal came with a small cup of sweet and sour soup, which had tofu, tomatoes, and mushrooms. The curry also had tofu, so I felt like I got a lot of the same textures, but the curry flavors were really nice. In my party of four, we each got a nice big lunch for under $100 total. Next time I want to try the vegan boba teas, since so many other places have dairy in the boba powder mixes. The one negative I can think of about this place is the entrance to the restaurant requires you to walk through a dirty and fairly steep set of stairs, but once inside the restaurant, there is a nice atmosphere with lots of plants and long rows of tables. The location in Chinatown is also super convenient for those visiting the theater district, Tufts Medical, and other parts of the South End.

Pros: Huge menu with great flavors, Convenient location, Moderate price

Cons: Entrance stairwell is sketchy

so yummy!

i went two of my four nights in boston because the food was so good! almost too many options, i didnt know what to pick!
the first visit i went for the 'shrimp' tom yum soup and lemongrass 'chicken', and the next night the rad nar noodle dish. both were great, and the portion sizes were pretty big. i wanted to try more but knew i wouldnt be able to eat it all😄

Pros: lots of options, delicious food

Total disaster

Found the restaurant from the street sign, it said it was a Vietnamese Asian cafe. We wanted to stop just for some tea as we were rushing to the train station. The staff rudely forced us to order something to eat as well so we chose two soups. It took them ages to prepare the food and it tasted very poorly. They basically served us warmed coconut milk with some canned veggies. The staff was unwelcoming, rude and the bill was too high for such a portion of sadness. In the end, we felt like idiots for stopping by. The food of others looked nice, however, I cannot recommend this place.

Cons: The staff was rude, The food tasted poorly

Absolutely awful!

The food is greasy and the presentation is poor.
The place is dirty and has an uninviting appearance.
I only ate very little and it did hurt my belly immediately.
If you like clean and healthy food don’t go there!

Pros: Nothing

Delicious food, but the location could use some work

The building the restaurant is in is quite dirty/grimy, but we took a chance and, boy, was the food delicious! I’d love to see the restaurant in an updated location.

Great all-vegan dinner

This was near my hotel, and a fully vegan restaurant is always exciting. Big menu. I had the fried dumplings and the Pad See Ew Plus, and both were great. Definitely recommended.

Can always find something I like here

The most expansive & accessible (all-)vegan place in Boston, super wide menu, & lunch specials are very worth it. Tamarind duck was AMAZING, well-sauced & good sides. Duck was crispy, flavorful, & filling

Just not good.

The lo mein tasted like regular lo mein, which is nice since that's hard to find without egg noodles. That being said, it was super greasy and hurt my tummy, the tofu that came with it was flavorless, and the onions in it were almost raw. The garlic string beans with tofu was likewise completely flavorless and undercooked. The miso soup was almost ok, but too sweet and the seaweed was too chewy. Just generally the food is not good. I get much better food ordering veggie dishes from regular Chinese places (without oyster sauce). I tried this place cause I liked that it was all vegan, but it's not worth it.

Pros: Many vegan options

Cons: Greasy, Flavorless, Undercooked

Lunch specials slap

I love this place. I've gone a few times since 2017. On my most recent visit, the food came quick, and the pad thai was delicious. The lunch specials are so worth it: $13.50 for a solid portion plus two dumplings and soup.

I thought the women's bathroom was fine.

Pros: Lunch specials, So many choices

Solid Vegan Thai Food

Old review from 2018: Was so excited to see a fully thai vegan restaurant. The menu is huge and the food was solid. I did not find anything spectacular, but appreciate the effort. I would almost rather see less options done really well than wide variety of good/average food. I would go again if in the area.

All vegan & very good food

We had a delicious meal here & will definitely go back. So many choices. Our food was all really fresh. There were 6 in our party and we were all happy with our meals. The location is great for a before-theatre dinner.
Service was not good - one of our meals came out 20 minutes after the others, no apologies given. The women’s bathroom was nothing short of disgusting. Plan on not using it.

give it a try if you want VEGAN Thai food

I eat here every time I'm in the area. I've read a lot of the reviews- yes, the space isn't the most stunning and the service varies, but this is all part of the Chinatown experience for me, and I appreciate that I can go to an establishment in Chinatown that is 100% vegan. The food always pleases, both me and guests who have been both vegan and omni. The menu is huge as people have written, and I have never been disappointed with a choice- nor have guests. The portions are large. Last visit I ordered a coconut meat curry special, and it was served in the coconut husk with a plate full of food surrounding it. The dish lasted for leftovers for two, and was stunning in appearance, taste and quality. If you don't like fake meat, you can always order dishes with tofu, edamame or nuts. The desserts are so good but I almost never have room. The boba tea is my favorite anywhere and I always order it even in the depths of winter.

Pros: extensive menu, all vegan, in Chinatown, humongous portions

Cons: service varies- just ask if you need something, ask for brown rice, chilly dining room in winter

Love the options! The restaurant itself is a bit quirky (cluttered) but the food is always great. Great takeout too, it’s my comfort food!

Great Food, Weird Kitchen

Every time I order from here, I remember why I love it! However, when you sit down and eat the vibes of the kitchen are sketchy. You can see into the kitchen sometimes, and it looks fairly dirty. I'm not one to question when servers tell you what the food is made of, but when I ask they tend to just say "yeah it's vegan" instead of what it's made of. I get pretty sketched out from this place, unless I order delivery; simply because the food is amazing but I don't like looking at the kitchen.

Pros: Great noodles

Cons: Dirty looking kitchen, Wait staff seem to not know what it's made of

Not much spice but pretty good

Even if you order the items that are supposed to be very spicy it will be mild. It’s overall very good though. Some of the items are pretty expensive.

Not what I hoped

The description on the menu didn’t match what I received - even though the server confirmed what I ordered. The dish, Choo Chee Fisherman, was supposed to have several different ‘seafood’ items - it had two separate kinds of faux seafood but I’m unsure which was which - the description also didn’t say it came with squash and zucchini, which was a majority of the dish. The price was way too high for a mediocre dish. And the hallway/stairwell going up to the restaurant was downright gross - should’ve been a red flag 🚩

Pros: Good flavor

Cons: Expensive , Lack of ambiance , Menu not accurate

Came for the curry, stayed for the cake

I came on a Wednesday night in the fall and it was nice and quiet. Great service and yummy food. The portions were huge and all the ingredients tasted fresh. My only negative thing is they didn’t have any sparkling water.

Pros: Panang Curry, Chocolate peanut butter cake, Spring rolls

Cons: No sparkling water

Not so good anymore

I loved this place for years. This was my last visit. It was dirtier than ever. I can deal with that for great food. The soups were good, meals were fine, if a little fast-foody and thrown-together tasting, but the appetizers and drinks were kinda bad - greasy, oily appetizers and meh drinks in take-out plastic. Friendly, fast service still, and I want to love the place that used to be a favorite, but I will try somewhere new next time. I appreciate that this place was a vegan option when there wasn’t much else!

Pros: Soup, All vegan, Lots of choices

Cons: How can dumplings be bad?!, So dirty , Food quality has gone down
