Fantastic food and kind service in a beautiful space - Edit
I spent a week in Lisbon and once I discovered My Mother's Daughters, I had to come by daily for nourishment of my body and soul. Everything is vegan, everything I tried was delicious, you see the food being prepared with love, the service in English was kind and empathic, the design of everything inside is done with exquisite care.

Vegan and Friendly - Edit
A very cozy venue with interesting decoration and very friendly staff. Food is strictly vegan or raw vegan - whole 3 chunky stars from me for that alone. Menu is quite divers but unfortunately with no photos (which is understandable in case a big chunk of their daily manu changes regularly). Nevertheless, some photos would help to avoid a disconnect between expectations and actual dishes (portions vs prices seemed a little off).
Read morePros: Delicious food, Row options (including desserts), Friendly multinational staff
Cons: Portions vs prices, Menu has no photos (somewhat understandably tho)

Some good dishes but too expensive - Edit
I've been to My Mother's Daughter on three separate occasions and my experience has not been very consistent. The staff was always lovely and the space itself is beautifully decorated, but some of the items on the menu were a fail. I tried the Benedict No Egg on my first visit and it was a big hit. On my second time there, I tried the tacos and the omelet, but they were both disappointing - not that tasty and portions too small for the price. On my third visit, I decided to go for the Benedict no egg, but this time around, the no egg was bland and nothing like the deliciousness I tried before. Thankfully, I had a slice of the pumpkin and persimmon pie and that totally made up for the disappointment that was the Benedict no egg. The food is nice overall, but I think it's way too expensive for the size of the portions. The room is also tiny and can feel very cramped when all of the tables are full, so I would recommend going there on less busy times.

OK but expensive - Edit
Lovely decor and plates. Staff friendly, helpful and attentive. It’s just a shame the menu is so bread-oriented and the bowls of the day seem to have more raw food than cooked. If you don’t want raw kale or bread, this isn’t for you.
Read moreJuices and cake very nice. In future I’d probably skip the main and just have the drinks - and sit outside because it’s so cramped inside.
I don’t want to diss the concept but I’d rather eat somewhere more reasonably priced like Alfarroba around the corner. For a dish of the day plus cake and juice it was 21.50!
Pros: Gf options , Fresh juices , Lots of greens
Cons: Very expensive , Small place - cramped , Have to book via Instagram

Had a nice brunch there with vegan dishes: delicious fresh fruit juice (but not enough cold though), good vegetable quiche and really nice soy with cajou yogurt for my cousin incredible tartine with tofu, sauce, spinach and mushroom, good green sencha tea and chocolate pumpkin pie for me.

Fomos almoçar. No menu é tudo vegan.

UAU!! - Edit
Delicious. Everything! We ordered a cold pea soup, a broccoli quiche, bread with vegan butter, and a vegan chocolate cake (the cake didn't survive for the photo!). The place is beautiful, with values that means a lot to me: apart from the vegan and plant-based menu, the restaurant builds is menu depending on the fruits, vegetables, and ingredients of the season. All the restaurant and place is also decorated with elements reused and recovered, with a concern for what is national and with a policy of zero-waste (we notice the originality in taking advantage of the peels of the fruit like oranges, lemon, melon or watermelon and put them in the water!). I loved this restaurant, and it's, so far, one of my vegan restaurants of choice in Lisbon.

Delicioso. Tudo.

This wonderful find was near my hotel in Lisbon and it has so much to offer. The food is amazing and staff are friendly. The sisters who run it are inspiring and their ethos is a game changer. I’m converted to oat milk 👍

Colorful food - Edit
This little place is a real gem. I was attented very well by a nice staff, who explained me the day's specials and the menu (the menu is only in portuguese, but do not hesitate asking for help). I have a very good breakfast there: a granola with seasonal fruit and oat milk, a slice of carrot cake with lemon and coconut topping and a yellow juice made out of many ingredients that I cannot remember all. It exceeded by far my expecations. And was not expensive at all.

Very nice place! - Edit
Our first visit to Portugal and our first time eating at this restaurant. Interesting vegan menu with lots of salad and rice bowls. We chose to eat the Mushroom “Omellete” and and Vegetable “Souflee”. Both were very tasty and came with different side salads. Looking around the restaurant, all the food looked great, including the desserts! Would highly recommend!

We loved this little vegan cafe! You MUST try the vegan burrata - best vegan cheese I’ve ever had. Lots of different savoury and sweet options. Very tasty chocolate cake. A few tables outside. Incredibly friendly and helpful people working there.

Cafe for the vegan future! - Edit
Wow! Great decor and vibe - everything is locally sourced and sustainable. The waitress was very friendly and explained the whole menu to us. We ordered a few dishes to share and were not disappointed by anything we ate, everything was full of flavour. We ordered a couple of cakes which were so delicious I nearly cried. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back next time we’re in Lisbon!!

I felt in love with this place since I first tried it. One of the best vegan restaurants in Lisbon, with plenty of fresh food and sustainable / zero waste dishes. I’ve tried the bowls more than once and I recommend every single one of them. They use local and vegetables of the season which is a nutritional plus for this place :)

Very small place, expensive, but good food - Edit
The restaurant is a very small place, just 9 tables inside, a few outside, and its packed so you barely have space to walk. Nicely decorated. Good place for a quick lunch. Freshly prepared food. Good attention by the waiters. Drawback, it's pretty expensive. A salat was 11€, a very small drink 3,50€. If price doesn't matter a good option.
