Expensive - Edit
The burrata is honestly one of the best things I've eaten since I went vegan, but the main course and dessert weren't outstanding, and definitely too expensive.

Way overpriced - Edit
Staff was friendly. We ordered two coffee but only received one. I won't beat around the bush, the portions were too small and the taste was okay. Basically a bowl of seasoned chickpeas €13 that I could easily make at home. We didn't bother to order any of the deserts as they were €€€.

The best lunch - Edit
I tried their sweet potato “toast”. I was initially very skeptical about the idea of subbing bread out for sweet potato (unless I misunderstood the name of the dish), however, this was actually the best lunch I had whilst visiting Lisbon. Obviously not at all like a toastie, more like a sweet jacket potato that’s really complex in flavour. Warning though: very garlicky
Read moreThe coffee was fine, but nothing great. The chocolate and almond pavé was tasty but really odd in texture: as though someone has already roughly chewed up the food and then stuck it back together. I did appreciate the presentation though

This place was recommended to me by flight attendant, and It was a hit! It’s super cute, staff couldn’t be any friendlier, and the food is absolutely delish. I hope I’ll be back.

Lovely but a bit pricy - Edit
The location is charming and the food is of great quality overall. Great vegan option to have in one's mind when in Lisbon. It is usually very packed so I advice going there early. The only negative is that, for Portuguese standards, it is quite pricy.

4.5* - Delicious Food in a nice Café - Edit
I've been a customer of My Mother's Daughters since it opened (somewhere between the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018 if I recall) back that it was a breath of fresh air in Lisbon, with some different options ( vegan burrata, vegan omelette, blue lattes, etc..), well prepared and mostly modern vegan food. I always prefered their "permanent" dishes rather then the daily specials, which were also good but nothing too special. I also worked nearby so I would go there often for lunch.
Read moreThen after a while it became more popular, parking in the zone was a nuisance, and since they don't (or didn't?) do reservations it's wasa bit annoying to drive there and struggle with parking to then find a full restaurant, so I started visiting less..meanwhile the pandemic hit, I changed jobs to a different part of Lisbon and ended up not going there for probably 3 years..until today.
First good news, they now have many more tables outside, meaning they can host more people which decreases the likelihood of not having a place to sit or having to wait a lot. The food is also quite similar, they have some of the same dishes, including the vegan Burrata that I was craving for and also still had the omelette, so I went down the memory lane, asked for those 2 dishes, plus one of the ones, the salami pizza. Everything was delicious and the service was actually faster then before, which I liked.
I do believe that the omelette was worst than before though. The omelette itself was very good but the filling lacked some flavor, before they added coconut bacon to it, which had the salty/smoky flavor that balanced it out better, but now they don't seem to add it anymore? Feels like something similar is lacking there. The blue latte was also not so blue anymore, instead of the veg milk becoming blue, now it has blueish flakes. Maybe they are using butterfly tea leaves instead of powder? i liked it less. The daily desert, the peanut butter one was also slightly heavy.
Don't get me wrong, everything was delicious so I'm really just nit picking here on small things that could be better, but on the other hand there's also lots of things that are close to perfection, like the Burrata and the pesto (even better than before), the new additions like the pizza are also super interesting and their bread is to die for, so damn good.
I totally recommend this place to everyone.
Pros: Delicious food, Vegan Burrata, Vegan Burrata (x2)
Cons: Some items need a little more flavor

Ok food, but dirty plates and tapwater - Edit
Food was ok, little on the expensive side compared to sizes, but plates were dirty (plate design is made too look dirty, possibly to camouflage the old food stains) the water for the table was from the tap and tasted bad. Staff didnt say it was from the tap.

Really worth it! - Edit
We loved the Blue Tea! We liked the Pepperoni pizza, no bread toast, pumpkin day special and the Buddha Bowl! The desert was Chocolate slice and it was not so tasty and to my liking. But I really enjoyed the food!!

Cousy place in the middle of Lisbon - Edit
Situated in the middle of Lisbon, it's a different coffee shop with lots of good cakes and pies.
Read moreThe staff is very friendly and the service is great,
The menu is always an interesting point, since it changes from time to time.
The meals are always very tasty, the portions are on the spot.
Deserts are tasty and you can always find a different option from the generic places.
A bit more expensive that normal but considering most of the products were biologic the price is more than fare.
A place to return to.

The most amazing meal - Edit
We ate here on our last day in Lisbon and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The person who served us was super sweet and everything we had was so tasty, I couldn't stop smiling and saying "this is the best meal ever". We shared the Burrata ao pesto, the mungo beans wrap and the toast no bread. Everything was very flavorful and delicious.

Loving food and decor - Edit
I was enamoured of this place, mainly by the decor and the spirit of it. I had pancakes and coffee and if you like the small details: the lights, the cups, the plates, the tiles, the semi-open kitchen, the beautiful presentation of the drinks and food then go here because the place itself is as much part of the experience as the food. It's clearly a love project.

Fully vegan but too fancy and expensive - Edit
My friend and I had the toast no bread, soup of the day and the pizza. I always want to support fully vegan places but I was a bit dissapointed because the food was very fancy and rather expensive but I wasn't full and it didn't taste amazing.
