cute and casual - Edit
A cute, casual little restaurant with a few tables inside as well as in the adjacent laneway. Convenient spot right near the train station - I stopped off for a quick dinner one night when there were disruptions on the Craigieburn line - again!
Read moreStaff are very sweet and friendly. A good variety of vegan options including a bento, soups, don, and small dishes. I tried a cocktail special with pink grapefruit and umeshu that was perfectly mixed and refreshing. The vegan ramen was tasty but the menu said it had veggies so I expected a bit more than just one tiny broccoli floret, some pickled cabbage and fungus.
Sakura daifuku for desert was delicious and unique. Sweet, tangy, floral, and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to eat the leaf if was wrapped in but it gave it a nice savory, salty flavour similar to shiso.
I'd definitely come back here for a cosy date but make it an early dinner because they close at 9pm.
