Really Good Chopped Cheese, But Not Fully Vegan - Edit
I went there for the first time tonight and they are NOT a fully-vegan deli at all. They have a great vegan selection, but serve all the dead animals any deli in NYC sells.
Read moreThat said it is the best chopped cheese I have had since becoming vegan. Huge hero, generous serving of side for $15 left me stuffed.
My one concern is it looked like they only use one grill and fryer so not sure about cross-contamination.

This place is about a mile away from where I work and it’s been a godsend at times. It’s a deli/bodega with the largest vegan menu I’ve seen at such an establishment. All the bodega classics are veganized. My only concern are the comparative higher prices, but that’s an issue at most vegan places anyway. With the way the vegan movement is moving forward, they’re bound to go down in the near future.
Read moreAside from the grill itself, Vegan Grill/My Deli also partnered with Plantega and have a refrigerator on location. The prices of the items in that fridge are the lowest I’ve seen, even compared to Whole food.

Upon ordering two vegan sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches, we were almost served English muffins with cow milk in them. I had to ask to read the ingredient list to verify that it was a vegan product, in which it was not.

I liked the staff. I made an error in my order and they called to clarify before starting my order. Lots of vegan options and faux products. It's not a place for sit down. It's grab and go! Bring a friend to inside or wait. Parking is the only issue.

The prices were fair and it’s located in a regular cornerstore. The staff was very friendly and made suggestions. Loved our meal there and will absolutely be going back.

Everything was on point it was like any bodega in New York but the staff really took pride in their work and showed every sandwich perfectly put together before wrapping it up. The Fish sandwich and Chopped Cheese were something else!! They got my vote!!🔥🔥💪🏾💪🏾 Oh and there falafel was the best ive ever had in my life!!! They let us sample it and its made in house it was fire with the hummus and hot sauce!!! Definitely gotta try that!!!!

This neighborhood Deli is a hidden gem, but has recently gained much deserved attention. It's a regular deli from the outside that does not necessarily scream out , "vegan"! However, inside there is a wide variety of vegan food options. The vegan foods are cooked on a separate grill & the man behind the counter always changes his gloves inbetween dishes. The beyond chopped cheese is my absolute favorite, best in The Bronx !
