Flavors that are hard to find, and even harder to find done right! - Edit
I first heard about My Daddy's recipes through the Vegan Depot Corona Instagram profile and immediately had to try it once I saw that they offered a selection that included various cobblers and sweet potato cheesecake. This food absolutely hit every note I was hoping for! While the peach cobbler I ordered was without a doubt a Grade A cobbler, what really caught me off guard was the cheesecake! It came in a little tub like container, and at first I couldn't see the sweet potato under the cheesecake, but once I dug my spoon through the top layer of creamy cheesecake, I reached some of the best sweet potato filling I've had. The tart (I'm guessing cashew based) cream cheese and the sweet richness of the potato complimented each other perfectly giving the cheesecake a more complex flavor profile than what I have had in a cheesecake before (especially vegan), and the consistency was creamy and cool leaving nothing to be desired. Sometimes I get a little uneasy about leaving five star reviews, but this one was more than earned! Great food and I will most definitely be looking forward to my next visit!
