Racist and Rude ….!!! As a business owner myself. I have never experienced such deplorable customer service. This unhappy individual was not only a Racist But extremely rude. He need to be fired I will be posting this on all social media platforms and reporting this establishment to the better business bureau. This type of behavior should not be tolerated.

Read moreFirst of all, I’m pissed that ai’ve been living a mere 45 minutes from this place for the last 4 months and have not been here yet- but that’s on me and I’m sure I’ll make up for lost time, like immediately.
All right, let’s talk outside to inside- it’s on the side of a two lane road and it kinda comes up quick so you gotta be ready to duck in to the parking lot real quick or you’ll be making a much needed illegal u turn. There are about 10 spaces and a cute little outdoor patio with 4 round 4top tables, license plates galore for decorating and a few nice potted tropical plants. This place screams dive roadside stand that you will remember and crave, literally for the rest of your life. The menu, IS HUGE, I’m not counting but easily 100 ways to stuff your face and SO MANY VEGAN OPTIONS!!! They have the Impossible hot dog, the Beyond burger and even a vegan chicken nugget option!!! So, I walk in, there’s a super nice woman on register greeting everyone and I can immediately tell it’s her place, she just has the mom vibes- and I’m here for it. Oh, and did I mention they have BEER?!!! So, obviously, I have a crisp cold can of PBR!!
I ordered a vegan Impossible Chicago Dog- yikes this thing is impeccably perfect. I’m writing this review as I eat it…Soft poppy seed bun, fresh sliced ripe tomato, chopped white onion, spicy sport peppers, relish and celery salt! The impossible dog is sliced and grilled and DANG, ya know what…. it was so good I’m going to patiently get up and wait in this huge assss line that just formed out the door to order something else!!

OK I’m back- with the “KA-PAOW” which is basically a vegan Philly cheesesteak.
It’s got my favorite brand of plant based vegan beef “meat”, my favorite brand of melted vegan cheddar, grilled onions & mushrooms on a grilled hoagie roll. Oh dear god. It’s just, wow. It’s huge, it’s messy, it’s greasy…. I’m druling while I’m eating it. I don’t know where this bread comes from but I’m assuming they just drop it from a helicopter that flies down from Philadelphia every fkn morning in a gps guided wicker basket. It’s crusty, chewy, hefty and it has the little semolina dust on the bottom.
The Ambiance is perfectly fitting to the fare, the staff is incredibly fast and kind, the food is out of this world great.
While I sat here (for an hour and a half) I saw probably a hundred people come and go, some enjoyed their dog slowly like me, some inhaled them, some just ordered fries but everyone and I mean EVERYONE was treated with kindness and they were all so happy with their food.
After being that busy, all morning, and even though I sat quietly in the corner alone and kept to myself I was thanked, by name, when I left. This place does it absolutely right.

Pretty cool roadside stop. Simple and to the point. They serve stubborn soda which is a plus too. Get a beyond burger or a veggie doh either all the fixins.

Having A Bad Day? - Edit
I saw the great reviews and got pretty excited. (Note: The menu has been simplified extensively from the one on line) When ordering, the first thing I told the employee was, "I'm vegan, so you gotta kinda help me out here," she agreed. I stuck with the basics just a veggie dog with vegan chili and I asked if they had spicy fries (they are no longer on the menu). She recommend Buffalo Fries, I said okay. When the fries came out, they had plain ranch dressing on them. When I explained again that I am vegan and ranch dressing is made with buttermilk, she stated (with a touch of attitude), "Well I don’t know what VEGAN is, so how should I know." The cook came out and told her she has to write vegan on the ticket. I got the plain fries (was not offer a refund for the cheaper fries). The chili was good

Super accommodating and tons of options. - Edit
Been here a few times, always great. I normally only gone for the basic dogs, which are never a bad choice (especially appreciate the vegan chili). Starting to branch out into the more adventurous and they were able to make them vegan and still enjoyable. The burgers are also well cooked.

This place had a huge selection of veggie hotdogs (in addition to the fact that any hotdog can be made a veggie dog)! It also has veggie chili so you can get a chili-cheese dog (which I highly recommend)!

Delicious vegan dogs! - Edit
All of the dogs can be made vegan by replacing with veggie dog and removing and/or replacing ingredients. They don’t have vegan cheese, but they make their own vegetarian chili and that was fantastic for my vegan chili dog! The garlic fries are so yummy too! I couldn’t eat them fast enough. Wish I could give 5 stars, but it’s not a full vegan or vegetarian restaurant so I’m only capable of giving 4.

Absolutely The Best Vegan Hot Dog - Edit
Thanks to Happy Cow I found this place. I tried the Chicago Style Veggie Dog & the M.O.R.K. Dog with the vegan chili & a side of garlic fries. It was delicious. The staff was really helpful & friendly. My non-vegan partner also enjoyed his meal. We ate there and the environment was very relaxed. If I’m in the area I will be back. I agree about the bun overtaking the dog but it was still delicious!

We tried a Chicago style veggie dog and chili veggie dog and I thought they were both great. The hotdog itself is good, not too much flavor but a great texture. It’s a little short but they make up for it in toppings. Their chili is fantastic- it has chunks of vegetables and a great flavor. The fries were ok but we definitely didn’t come for that. The hot dogs totally hit the spot

Best local place for veggie dogs! - Edit
Mustard's is my favorite place to get veggie dogs around town! Lots of choices on the menu as far as toppings go. The buns are steamed which makes them soooo good! My favorite is grilled veggie dog with grilled onions and mushrooms, with yellow mustard. The veggie chili is good, but spicy. This location gets very busy at lunch time, and can get quite cramped inside. There is plenty of seating outside. Parking can be a problem too. I bring my dog sometimes and he orders the "dog for a dog"! This place is a total dive, but a total local gem too!
