Vegan Mexican Pie

Pie with freshly made salad and beetroot chutney. Very nice pit stop middle of the north island. Also very popular!

Two tasty vegan options

Though the menu at Mustard Seed is mostly about bacon, there are two options for vegans, in the form of savory pies in two flavors: sweet potato and Mexican veggies. We ordered both to share and found them quite flavorful. Both are served with the same simple side salad.

They have almond milk for coffee drinks as well.

There seating both indoors and out, and both are pleasant.

Counter service was warm and efficient.
