Absolutely divine! - Edit
I had the healthy mushroom soup with vegetable broth for one. I eat eggs, but I am allergic to dairy. Vegan option for this is available. The lady is very warm, accomdating and friendly.

Healthy shabu shabu options - Edit
Ate here twice as the food and service were great. Small family run place, there is a vegan option - just let the young lady server know. Wide variety of mushrooms and vegetables and tasty stock. Noodles and congee to finish.

Hubba hubba - Edit
The shabu shabu is too big for 1 person so instead to get as close as possible to it order the 'healthy mushroom soup' without meat and no-meat broth. Lots of mushroom and greens with rice and side dishes. Delicious.

Hearty Meal❤️❤️ - Edit
Even though we walk-in without any reservation, owner was kind to accommodate to our last minute request. Even though she mentioned that it would take a waiting time of 30mins, the meal was served swiftly. A 3-course meal which involved vegetables and mushroom shabu shabu, noodles and vegetable porridge, not including the appetisers. It was very filling and we did not ask for porridge as we were very full.

Authentic Korean - Edit
The vegan side dishes are great! I wanted to try the mushrooms but the owner said that it was too big for one person and I wasn’t really hungry … so I had a potato soup that it was perfect for the cold weather.

Amazing vegan option - Edit
We are a couple where I eat meat, but my girlfriend is a vegetarian. We saw this place on happy cow and decided to try it. Upon entering they immediately asked if we wanted the vegan option, where they specially make a vegan broth for the shabu shabu. We decided a normal broth was OK and we got a plate with 90 % mushrooms and 10 % meat. It was an amazing experience where the owners daughter explained how the 3-course meal worked and how it should be eaten.

Delicious mushrooms - Edit
As the previous review says, we called in advance (1h) to ask them to make a vegan broth for us. When we arrived there it was already ready and waiting for us
Read moreThey made vegan side dishes for us as well, and brought wheat flour noodles to eat after the mushroom.
We ate so much and it was really delicious! They were also so friendly.
We paid 30,000KRW for 2 people, which is the same as the meat menus but we had a bit more mushrooms and a different kind as well.
Pros: Huge quantity to eat, Super nice staff

Loads of mushrooms - Edit
This is another, newer branch of a Jeju franchise specializing in mushroom shabu shabu. There are no vegan dishes on the menu, but if you call in advance (in our case, 1 hour was enough), they will prepare a plant-based stock and bring only veggie-friendly toppings and side dishes.
Read moreSince we didn't want meat, we got a special kind of mushroom (Cordyceps militaris, 동충하초) instead. Along with the broth, you get a big plate of assorted mushrooms, noodles and rice to make congee with the remaining broth.
It was so much to eat, we couldn't even finish the rice porridge! Additional toppings could be ordered as well.
One large pot of shabu shabu cost 30,000 KRW for 2 people, which is the same price as the basic shabu shabu with pork.
Pros: A lot to eat, Friendly staff
