Brilliant cosy restaurant for vegan foodies in Peniche area - Edit
Loved this place so much! A leisurely meal with great wine and plenty of vegan options. Everything tasted freshly made. The owner is so nice and friendly! We had beetroot hummus and padrón peppers to start, followed by vegan bolognese and cauliflower, tofu and potatoes (which was star of the show). Can’t recommend enough.

Lush place for dinner as a vegan. Small homely restaurant with lovely food in decent portions with friendly people. Some beers, wines and spirits available. Indoor and outdoor seating. The music being played in the background was nice style and volume too.

We‘ve been to this place many times the past years. The chef / owner is a great guy and he knows how to cook vegan / vegetarian. The menu is written on a blackboard and changes from time to time. We have never been disappointed and will come back for sure. We love the place and food and can certainly recommend it.

Best Chili I never had - Edit
I was at first not so enthusiastic about the choices I had: curry and chili. But I also know that a small menu means fresh cooked food (I just really don’t like curry). So Im going for the chili thinking it’s going to be ok but boring. How wrong I was! The flavor was great and it was the best chili I never had!

If you’re vegan or not this is one of the best restaurants in Piniche. The food is extremely fresh, flavorful, and well priced! I’d highly recommend the vegan curry and sautéed mushrooms as an appetizer! The restaurant is down a little ally so keep an eye out when you come here (it’s worth it). This place is cozy with 5 tables so warning it may fill up fast!

We loved the place so much! We went there on February at lunch time and loved the calm space, vintage items everywhere. A really small place but the food was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! The portions were a really nice size! We ordered 2 entrees (mushrooms & bellpeppers) and 2 vegan chili’s. (For a couple) and we were really full and really happy! 💚

We went there with a group of 6 and everyone ordered something different. Everything tasted nice (except the curry to be honest) but the portions were extremely small. The risotto was literally not more than four spoons, which is not fair when you pay 10-13€ for a meal. The food was probably good quality but it's not a gourmet restaurant so I don't think it's fair to pay quite a lot for still being hungry afterward.

Read moreWe had a the padrón peppers (delicious) then I had the vegan chickpea curry and my partner had the shrimp linguine. We both really enjoyed our dishes. Healthy, tasty, well seasoned. I even had fresh bits of raw apple in my curry - surprising yet yummy!
I also had a very good glass of house white wine for 2€50.
Would really recommend, excellent value for money. But arrive early as they seem to book up fairly quickly!
Would give it 5 stars if fully vegetarian/vegan.

Delicious, quaint, excellent staff! - Edit
Very quaint, cozy restaurant. The owner / staff were incredibly friendly and it was a pleasure eating there and talking to them. The food was delicious with plenty of vegan options for both appetizers and entrees. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for vegan / vegetarian options in an area that is otherwise very meat-based.
