Yummy lormee (heard it's closing by end Sep2019)

Ordered 2 Lor Mee w additional fried stuffy for $11. Yummy~ Staff 家和 told us that they are closing Shenton outlet by end Sep and perhaps moving to elsewhere. Go try it before they are close~ They sell noodles such as lor mee, laksa, hokkien mee, gravy rice/noodles and caifan!

Better to eat at a food court for lunch

A little expensive, food portion size is small, vegetables are yellowish and tastes quite plain. Chicken rice is clumpy and looks mashed. Soy milk costs $2, total meal was $7. Can get a better deal at hawker centers or food court for less than $5 a meal with better food.

Very happy

This place may not be fancy, but it does have plenty of great food. All of which was free for breakfast in May, on account of Mother's Day being that month. (The staff didn't push us to contribute, but you could donate money to feed families of limited financial means instead.) One level up in a shopping mall, so it takes a minute to find after you enter from the street.

Very nice Tze Char

although they only have 2 tze char on their menu, they are very tasty. I would visit them again if I am in the area.

Note: their operating hours fluctuates when they are doing charities.

Pros: Affordable, delicious, pro-charity business

Cons: limited menu items for tze char
