The classic hot chocolate is not sweet or cholaty enough for me. Vegan browie is decent, too, not my favourite.

Had the chocolate and chai drink. Would recommend. And got the chocolate pretzel cupcake to go with extra chocolate on-top. The pretzels were a bit soft but loved their salty flavour with the rich chocolate. Yum

Absolute favourite vegan brownie but I rated 3 stars because there are less vegan options than there used to be. There used to be cookies / cookie sandwiches as well as brownies etc so it’s a shame to see less. But it is reallllly good otherwise!

Read moreOctober is Hot Choctober, which means they have an extended hot chocolate menu available.
The staff are really friendly. It can be tough to get a seat (although easier now they've moved into larger premises), but they do offer takeaway. I definitely recommend grabbing a coffee and cake to eat on College Green!

Delicious Vegan Sweet Treats - Edit
I have frequently visited Mrs Pott’s since being a vegan and I have tried most of their vegan options which have all been very chocolatey and delicious. They have a few things on offer everyday such as vegan hot chocolate (available with vegan whipped cream), vegan chocolate brownie, cookie, chocolate cookie sandwich with ganache, and their new snickers chocolate cake. They always have the same options and rarely switch it up which I find boring sometimes but all of their options are great. My favourite and go to order now is the snickers cake as you get a huge slice and it’s delicious! You can have vegan melted chocolate drizzled on everything too! Last winter they had a vegan special which was a chocolate orange brownie with ice cream and that was amazing! The cafe itself is really cozy and cute and the staff are always really friendly. It’s a great place to stop by if you’re craving something sweet; I would definitely recommend it! It is quite expensive but everything is so delicious that I’d say it’s worth it.

Great choice of vegan options. Vegan snickers cake was a massive portion, not too sweet, and lovely flavour. And their 100% cocoa hot chocolate was beautifully rich and with just the right level of bitterness. The one negative was that my hot chocolate initially turned up with dairy milk but the waitress immediately questioned it once she saw our vegan cakes and quickly put it right.

i’ve had vegan milkshakes, brownies (£3.90) and chocolate filled cookies from here before. very tasty, VERY chocolatey. they normally have 2 vegan food options. always offer to warm it up and drizzle melted chocolate over. great, friendly service, nice seating space.

Really nice chocolate and some good vegan options. I’d personally advise to share whichever snack you go for with someone else - they can be a bit sickly and you might not be able to finish it! Especially if you get a hot chocolate too (they are good).

they had a few vegan bakery goods and hot chocolate options. you even had the choice whether or not to dip your cookie or cookie sandwich in more chocolate. I recommend the cookie sandwich as it was delicious!

I found the place on Happy Cow and we went to visit while in Bristol. There were only VERY FEW vegan options- not what I expected but ok- I am used to having limited choice anyway. We ordered vegan Sundaes which weren’t great- in fact they were very disappointing. The ice cream melted within a minute and it was just a terrible mess of average tasting melted ice cream with bits of some brownie and strawberries- and only the fruits were nice.

The cookie sandwich was amazing and probably the best cookies I’ve had since being vegan, although the frosting/ganache was super rich! They do vegan hot chocolates made with real chocolate. I had a tea with soya milk which came with a little dark chocolate which was delicious. Would definitely return!

Does what it says on the label. Had the vegan chocolate brownie and they warmed it up and drizzled melted chocolate over it. Had hot chocolate, served with a chocolate covered, tea, served with a chocolate coin. Everything was delicious and staff were very friendly. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, free WiFi (got a sudden work email and was able to work through it there and then).

Great vegan options - Edit
We ordered the vegan selection sample from Deliveroo which cake with a vegan cookie sandwich, vegan cookie, vegan brownie, vegan cupcake and 2 Potts vegan hot chocolates. It was all delicious and perfect for all chocolate lovers. My only criticism is that it is very rich so adding some vanilla ice cream is a good idea!
