Almost entirely vegan - Edit
I am not vegan but my girlfriend is and this cafe was fantastic for us to have coffee and breakfast together! Almost everything on the menu is vegan but there's also a few non-vegan options.

Okay - Edit
I had the avocado sandwich (6€), which lacked flavor but was okay overall. I was also a bit surprised at the small portion, especially compared to other places in Riga. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Several vegan options but expensive - Edit
The place itself is really cute and they also have a nice outside area for the warmer season. I appreciate that they have several sweet or savory vegan options, but I think some items are too expensive for the portion you get, compared to other places in Riga. What I loved was their big range of plant-based milk options for coffee. The staff was also really friendly.

Okay-ish food, expensive though! - Edit
Not a huge fan of paying 6€ for a peanut butter toast! Place has a nice vibe but very over priced.

Matig vegan food - Edit
Bowl met quinoa was zeer, zeer droog. De humus maakte het nog enigszins te eten. In de wrap zaten gesneden, rauwe groenten. Evenals de bowl weinig smaak.

Cons: Droog, weinig smaak en in verhouding te duur.

Tasty breakfast - Edit
Has very tasty vegan breakfast menu items. We had avocado toast, mushroom and hummus toast and vegan pancakes, all very tasty, and apparently healthy.

Not impressed by the homemade lemonade, which was fine, but I expected it to be carbonated or / and made from / with lemons. And it was neither. It's made with multiple berries.
Pros: Plenty of vegan options., Very tasty., Cozy and stylish interior design
Cons: Small portions, On the expensive side

Great vegan breakfast - Edit
We had a great breakfast at Mr Fox. The place was easy to find and a short walk from where we were staying in the centre of Riga. We had the avocado toast which was well seasoned and delicious. Altogether with two breakfasts and two drinks, it was 17 euros so would highly recommend!

Really nice place. Although the place is not purely vegan, there are lovely vegan options and they are clearly marked. Vegan meal called "Budda bowl" was awesome!

Might be good for a snack - Edit
The place seems to be popular with locals. However, there are better places for a vegan in Riga. The food seemed to be on the healthy side but without any protein, so not really filling. Smallish portions.

Good spot for a light meal - Edit
Visited on August 2016.
Read moreMr. Fox just opened on July 2016.
It is a "healthy" cafe, located in front of Hotel Alberts, very close to the area filled with Art Nouveau buildings.
The menu is displayed in both Latvian and English; and about half of it is vegan.
We were not so hungry so we just had the Buddha Bowl (a salad with hummus, vegetables - check the picture) and a cake. Both were yummy, specially the hummus.
They also have vegan options for breakfast like pancakes, or sandwiches.
According to the staff, vegan cakes are always available.
Maybe the other vegan dishes are more substantial than the Buddha Bowl; however, you can always add something extra (at an extra price) to the plates (e.g., tofu) if you want to make it more satisfying.
Pros: labels vegan, location, atmosphere
Cons: not fully vegan
