Excellent food and cakes! - Edit
Amazing bagel, had the Argy Bhaji bagel and the vegan Mac and Cheese bagel, which arrived with a very nice side salad.
Read moreThe coffee was also great, and came with a mini jammy dodger.
The cakes were also excellent and there were so many options for vegans.
We had the maple pecan pie and an Oreo cookie bar which were both great.
Would 100% recommend and visit again.

Perfect for those with a sweet tooth - Edit
Always try to make the effort to pop in when I’m in the area. Love love love all the sweet treats I can choose from. I turned up rather late on a Sunday afternoon and still managed to pick up a couple of bits (with probably another half a dozen options). If I’d made it in earlier, the helpful lady said the entire first counter and the top shelf of the next was all vegan, so they do make sure they have plenty of choice for us!
Read moreThe only thing stopping me from rating it 5 stars is I’m yet to sit in! But once I do, I’ll be sure to amend.
Pros: Plenty of choice , Outdoor seating , Kind, helpful staff

Cool Coffee House - Edit
Very welcoming and cool coffee house, with very good vegan choices, all clearly labelled.
Read moreThe 3 of us shared a twice baked almond frangipan croissant, oreo cookie and cream cake, and a carrot cake, which were soooooo delicious. My wife enjoyed the croissant so much, she went back again to buy another one for her breakfast the next day!
Coffees are great too and I loved the circa 2004-06 indie tunes 🎸. Only con is that there is limited seating.
Pros: Tasty treats, Choice, Staff & Atmosphere
Cons: Limited seating

A jewel in a place that’s difficult for vegans. - Edit
It’s very difficult to find somewhere decent to eat in Whitby but, Mr Cooper’s Coffee House seems to be switched on to veganism. The staff were very friendly and helpful, there were clearly marked vegan options and some nice choices. Service was lightening quick, atmosphere was warm with quality indie tunes on the radio. And the cakes f*** me they were amazing.

Amazing bagel - Edit
I had the Persian bagel, which had falafel, a house slaw, homemade carrot and chilli jam, and mixed leaves. The nicest bagel I've ever had. I also got an apple and blackberry crumblejack. Flapjack on the bottom and crumble topping. So tasty! Cute little coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. However, the only downside is they charge around £2 extra to sit in vs takeaway.

Cons: Charge extra to sit in

Hi Sarah, if you read the menu, the extra charge that you have stated to sit in, is because sitting in your get a beautiful side salad with berries and stuff. The take away is the bagel only.

Such a wonderful little place. Would have visited more than once if time permitted!

I had a latte with oat milk and syrup. The only syrup options seemed to be sugar free and would have preferred original but the coffee was still good! Chose a Biscoff bun as Biscoff is my favourite!

Great - Edit
Sweet little coffee house with friendly staff. Sat in the window and watched the world go by on a drizzly Sunday afternoon. Had the courgetti bagel which was lovely, as were the cakes - husband and I shared the cookies & cream cake and the monster chocolate biscoff. Coffee good too.

Nice atmosphere and decor. Vegan options are clearly labelled. They even have vegan cakes! Staff are very friendly and patient putting up with me making sure everything they give me is vegan haha

Only issue is the place is a bit small, if your group is more than two you'll struggle to sit together, and a group of four has no chance

One of the best vegan friendly cafe's in Whitby - Edit
As soon as I walked into this cafe the friendly staff greeted us and seated us immediately. There is plenty of seating so you don't have the feeling like you're sat too close to other diners. The plants were a nice touch, which added some charm.
Read moreI really appreciated the polite, helpful staff that are were very knowledgeable about what was vegan and not, also how to modify certain options on the menu to be made vegan. This is normally a rarity in non-veg places.
I ordered the falafel grain bowl which came with a dressing, which tasted amazing! The coffee came with some mini jammy dodgers + brown sugar cubes. They even had a water machine where you could help yourself for free. Another vegan option that I noticed included 'the vegan one' which is a bagel filled with yummy veggies and purees. Where the counter is they have loads of vegan friendly pastries and cakes for those who have a sweet tooth.
Very reasonable price, would highly recommend trying this venue if you're in the area! :)
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Good value, Tasty food
