Ordinary - Edit
We had three meals, tofu with bamboo shoots and shiitake which was fine but would need more flavour (we added soy sauce) and hot Mapo tofu with a lot of black pepper which tasted weird. They could use any other type of spiciness instead. The last one were noodles with vegetables (take away - we only have the left over photo). There was almost no vegetables it was just noodles with soy sauce. Altogether with 2 beers we paid 33 EUR.

Cons: Lot of black pepper in Mapo tofu, Tasteless noodles, Overall ordinary and pricy

Average and classic - Edit
A very standard Chinese restaurant. Has a lot on the menu, and some of them are or can be made vegan. Both the soup and the vegetables with tofu and rice were alright, but nothing more. On the positive, it's relatively cheap and the staff is nice

Good vegan food - Edit
We ate vegan cucumber sushi and also fried rice with veggies (order it without egg to make it vegan) and tofu and sauce. All of them were really good. Affordable prices.

Limited options, reasonable value, unpretentious - Edit
The restaurant has a good amount of vegetarian and a small but sufficient number of vegan options. Do not expect gourmet food: it is greasy, salty fare. However, this is reflected in a low price. The restaurant has ample room and a charming if slightly tacky decor. Good service, helpful with choosing vegan options.

My favourite Chinese restaurant - Edit
Mr Chen is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Zagreb. It's spacious, air conditioned, the staff is friendly, and, most importantly, the food is delicious. I usually have 3 hosomaki (with cucumber and/or daikon) and a main dish with tofu. I alternate between ma-po tofu and tofu with bamboo shoots and Chinese mushrooms (shiitake). Unfortunately, the batter for fried fruit is not vegan, so if I want a dessert, the only option is a lychee compote.

Cons: no vegan desserts besides lychee compote
