Not bad - Edit
We shared two curries, a rice and a starter. It was a fairly small meal, but also fairly cheap for central Liverpool. My main criticism is that we were initially not given a vegan menu and there was no suggestion that one existed until we asked. Unless we’d already known about the vegan options, most of them wouldn’t have been present which is very bad for generating demand.

Delicious - Edit
Really love Mowgli. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a lovely ambience. During our last visit, we got to sit on the swing seats, which was quite novel. There's a separate menu for vegans and they even clearly label their vegan drinks. There's loads of choice but I would recommend the treacle tamarind fries (shared between at least 2 people as they are very rich and sweet) and the bhel Puri. The Holy Chow is also really good value for money as it is very filling!

Tasty but tiny - Edit
Went here for a works-do so was somewhat obliged… the separate vegan menu is clear and concise with plenty of variety. They dishes themselves were very tasty… just a bit small for the price. Not the place if you’re hungry and on a budget. The atmosphere and staff were great though so made for an enjoyable experience.

Was very impressed by the vegan options! The vegan and gluten free menus are separate but they have an allergy checklist on the back and the staff were great with sorting out my gf food! The food was delicious!!

Practically perfect - Edit
We had a wonderful experience here, one of our last meals out before the lockdown and it could not have been better. Mowgli clearly care very much about their plant based customers as then had strived to create a fantastic dining experience for us. Delicious food especially the yoghurt bombs, will be returning!

Tasty vegan Indian street food - Edit
Great tapas style Indian food. The Holy Chow was a hollowed out fat slice of bread with curried chickpeas and potatoes. Spice was tasty and just hot enough. Separate vegan menu with dietary restrictions well labeled. Omni wife enjoyed her buttered chicken and rice.

Excellent Indian street food. Separate vegan menu with loads of options. The “chaat bombs” (hollow gram balls filled with spiced yoghurt) are incredible, as are the treacle tamarind fries.

Amazing - Edit
Stunning restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and fantastic staff. Full vegan menu available with loads of choice - food is delicious. Tiffin box is a fantastic idea as I couldn't decide what to have - Tiffin box gives you a selection of 3 dishes plus rice you don't know what you're getting till it arrives. Every dish was amazing. So highly reccommended

This is one of my favourite restaurants! A great variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Even more impressive is now you can order vegan versions of the Yoghurt Chat Bombs. Other favourite dishes are Treacle Tamarind Fries and Green Ginger & Rhubarb Dahl. Love the decor as well

Tasty place to eat - Edit
Staff are friendly and always explain the menu well. Ask for the vegan menu makes your choices clearly rather than spotting them off the main menu. Vegan tiffin is a great way to sample a few different dishes if you have a big appetite or have someone to share with. Personal fave is the mowgli slaw. The tamarind treacle fries are also hella awesome.

Great indian food - they have a separate vegan menu. One of the offers is a surprise tiffin box , which is already great to try different foods that you might otherwise not try. The place also has been amazingly decorated.
