Vegetable postal service

Ok this is the review that I've had to change the most out of all the reviews I've ever done.
Basically these guys are solid. For me 3 stars means fair-> good.
However the price is steeper than I'd like and they make mistakes and you can't get hold of them to sort.
Have used these guys for few months now and no longer as can shop for self now. They will at some stage muck something up and I had 5 reasonably serious errors that I just couldn't get in contact with them to sort bar once by my wife hitting their main FB page up. To be fair they did rectify the error well and generously - that ONE time they actually responded. They double charged me on last order and had to cancel the direct debit as I couldn't afford a £60 charge. (Usual weekly order was £30).
Anyhow found deliveries usually came when expected, some teething troubles and enough of s disruption to give them a 3. Organic is impt tho!!
Old review:
Veg will look like they've been just pulled out of the ground so washing and scrubbing are a must, but overall I'm very pleased. Taste great.
My first delivery came to just over £30 for what you see in my photo. About £3 for delivery to just outside Belfast. All veg loose and no or very few plastic wraps - one brown paper bag for tomatoes. They do some other things too.
Roughly equivalent to supermarket prices but would say quantity and size of veg will vary and likely reflects what was harvested or available that week.
Will definitely be using regularly and appreciate the service and hope they're doing well in this time when food production is surely booming whilst restaurants take a hit.
Overall great. Allows me choice. Only delivers 1x a week so stock up.
(Update 1: delivery is £3 not £4
Update 3: back to 5* as the deliveries have been regular for weeks now. Initial trouble looks like was just a blip. Have tried fruit, salad and veg bags and loose 1 off orders as well as eggs - pleased with it all and has been excellent during lockdown.)
Update 4: just to say have went with weekly deliveries for about a month now and have been consistently pleased with the taste, quality and eco friendliness ["ugly" veg, no/lo plastic] and have found them extremely reliable - delivery in am. Yes quantities do vary but think second review being tad unfair. Prob reflects demand and harvest but not wild variance in my experience. These guys are indie too so your money not going to financiers and CEOs.
Accept their communication - if you need to get in touch.

Poor service

Produce was tasty and quality was high. First two deliveries were good but next two were extremely light. And by that I mean I received half the fruit I ordered and yet was charged the full amount. The fruit in the photo cost £25. Three emails and two phone calls later nothing by way of a response. So I regretfully cancelled my weekly deliveries. In short, good produce but poor customer service and small portions.

Pros: Nice produce, organic , weekly deliveries

Cons: expense , poor customer service , bruised fruit from carriage
