Likely the best Indian food I’ve ever had - Edit
Via takeout, I ordered the roti, samosas, yellow daal, and mushroom mattar makhani. We asked for no dairy, and they made the mushroom dish with coconut cream instead or regular cream! The samosas were easily the best I’ve ever had, with a uniquely complex and utterly delicious flavor and the perfect texture. The yellow deal is very good. The mushroom mattar makhani is unlike any Indian dish I’ve ever had… so creamy, so light and well rounded in the best way. I would order again from here in an heartbeat.

Westport location. Misled about vegan options. - Edit
This was my second visit to the Westport location. I should’ve learned my lesson the first time...our servers either didn’t know, didn’t care or purposely misled me regarding which items were vegan. I was very specific with my questions, including about dairy, butter, ghee, etc. I ordered Mulligatwany Soup, assured by the server it was vegan, and the green salad with lemon. The soup is clearly not vegan and I’m now worried it might have even had chicken stock in it, in addition to ghee. Can’t trust what I was told. The small salad, comprised of iceberg lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes was ok with a squeeze of lemon. Now after reading the previous review I learn that the bread is also not vegan. This place might be fine for a vegetarian, but I’d give it a hard pass from a vegan perspective, particularly if they can’t be honest or helpful regarding options. I’d have been happier to just eat the salad than to be misled into ordering a non-vegan item. I will NEVER go back.

Review of Barry Road location - Edit
Vegan veggie samosas were fantastic! The waiter knew what was vegan and what wasn't, which was nice. I was hoping to have the Baingan bharta, but it contains dairy (at least at this location). Unfortunately, there were only 4 vegan options: okra, dal, chana aloo, and gobi keema. All of the breads contain dairy. I had the chana aloo, and it was fine but nothing impressive.

Cons: Only 4 vegan options, No bread options
