Excellent food AND SERVICE - Edit
I had dinner here with family, I order vegetable pakoras and onion bhaji as followed by one dal tadka, aloo Gobi, rice and roties. Was a great meal, with a great location. Staff were polite and attentive to our needs. it is absolutely the best Indian food in Hobart. We have been there several times and are never disappointed.

Incredible Indian food - Edit
Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Many veg options, most of which are vegan. The entree samosas are not vegan, but the veg pakoras are, and they are very yummy! We had one of the dals and the mixed veg curry - which was incredible! The roti (without butter) were also amazing!

Nothing to fault - Edit
Just had dinner here, Ordered some samosas to start with, followed by bhindi masala and chana masala for mains with rice and roti. Everything was tasty. The staff was knowledgable about what's vegan on the menu and assured us that no butter would be put on the bread. Décor is cleaner and more modern than your average dingy Indian restaurants. An enjoyable meal overall!

A Pleasant Taste - Edit
The restaurant is a bit of a hike up Elizabeth St from the harbour but the food was good. We ordered onion bhaji to start. The main was vegetarian thali which they adjusted to make it vegan. The thali was large enough for two especially since we had the onion bhaji to start. The food was spiced just right. The only complaint was that the onion bhaji was more onion rings than bhaji. All in all, a good meal washed down with some Tasmanian beer
