Amazing indian food - Edit
They have many vegan options, the waiter helps you with picking the best combination and informs you if something has animal products right away. Super friendly staff, the ambiance is nice and relaxed.

Several vegan options(starters and main courses). It was the best service i had in Figueira da Foz, the girl who served us was very nice and sweet. I recommend this indian restaurant. I can't give you 5 stars because it's not totally vegan!

Yes yes yes! This is what Indian food should be like! - Edit
I tend to avoid Indian restaurants, since I have been disapointed so many times. Sooo happy I gave this a try.

Best restaurant to eat in Figueira da Foz. - Edit

Pratos 'caseiros' e saborosos.

Delicious, unassuming vegan-friendly restaurant - Edit
TL;DR- tasty food and friendly service, but it's a bit oily.
Read moreMy husband and I dined at Mother India on 2/14/19. The restaurant was quite when we arrived around 1pm. We sat wherever we wanted and were quickly attended to.
Both workers out front speak impeccable English. The man was friendly while the woman was a bit more direct.
We both ordered mains of Karhai Kofta with a mushroom rice to share.
The balls were tender and melted in your mouth. They were so good! The (white) mushroom rice was flavorful and also incorporated small pieces of veggies in the dish as well.
Compared to other restaurants in the area, this place is slightly on the higher side. Even so, it's still affordable for Western travelers at less than 8 Euro for a main.
Pros: Tasty, authentic vegan options, Quick food, Off the beaten track
Cons: Vegan options not labeled, Mains can be a bit oily, No free water
