Great Japanese joint

Their vegan duck is incredible. Vegan Wednesday’s gets you 25% off all food on the vegan menu which is full of delicious options.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, 25% off on vegan food every Wednesday

Must Go to Moshimo

Generous veggie and vegan options to suit all tastes whilst being beautifully presented with majestic creative touches. Colour and texture abound and my palate loves being taken there! A great place to meet up with veggies, vegans and meaties alike. It has the added bonus of outdoor seating when the weather allows. Moshimo is situate close to the historic Lanes of Brighton which means shopping can be fitted around eating here. Perfect! Furthermore, the staff give a sincere welcome and display impeccable menu knowledge. One can’t really ask for much more.

Pros: Fabulous veggie and vegan choices. , Mouth-watering, creative food presentation. , Centrally located in city of Brighton & Hove

lovely vegan options

Lots of vegan options all well labelled
. You can choose from the belt or/and the menu. I always have a mix of both as I find them irresistible😄taste great and good atmosphere. Quirky layout and cool space in a courtyard near the Lanes and Jury's Inn hotel. Supporters local veg farms and other ingredients

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Delicious and authentic

Amazing atmosphere, and so many options! A little pricey but no more so than most Japanese in the area. Lovely staff and according to the menu they will be adding even more vegan options soon!

Pros: so many options

Amazing vegan food in cozy restaurant!

The food is here is so good! I came here with my sister and we were very hungry, so we ate a lot of different dishes that we ordered from the Kozara section of the menu, or picked off of the conveyor belt.

The place is cozy and very beautiful. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Vegan options are marked clearly on the menu, and there are so many of them! I would definitely give Moshimo five stars if it was possible.

My only regret is that I didn't try one of the main dishes lol.

Pros: amazing food, cozy, friendly staff

Cons: none

Fun!

At this place you choose between a number of small dishes, the vegan dishes are clearly marked (vgn) in the menu. Some comes at the conveyer belt and some you can order. I had korean noodles, aubergine in misosauce, and two kinds of maki. Everything was really good!!!

Pros: connveyer belt

Cons: hard to split the bill

YUM

I went here and had the faux duck teriyaki, some cucumber rolls and the pumpkin croquettes. My partner isn't vegan so he had the Katsu curry. All was delicious, although the duck was a little bit sickly and sweet - but still good. The croquettes came with a sauce and when I asked the waiter what it was he was well informed and very friendly. Would absolutely go again. Love the cute conveyer belt too :)

Pros: Friendly, informed staff and decent service, Clearly marked VEGAN dishes, Lovely modern layout

Cons: Faux duck dish not my favourite - 8/10

Super sushi

I found the staff here incredibly rude, but the food delicious. The sushi was beautiful, and the katsu curry was lovely. All the vegan options are easy to see, and the service is fast, if not friendly.

Pros: Delicious food

Cons: Rude staff

Great food!

I love this place. There are loads of vegan options clearly marked, and everything I've tried is brilliant - they even have vegan cheese and faux meat on the menu. I would avoid on Monday's (Moshi Mondays) as sometimes the service can be slow and the staff are forgetful - I've had to remind the staff after 30 minutes that we haven't received almost any of our food.

Pros: Vegan options are clearly marked., Plenty of vegan options.

Cons: Avoid Monday's.

The best!

Amazing vegan Japanese food right in the centre of Brighton. Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu & currently include inari tofu, tofu teriyaki, a selection of hand rolls, aubergine dengaku, agedashi tofu, vegan duck teriyaki & even a maki roll which includes vegan cheese. If you're unsure where to start Moshi Moshi do a vegan sushi set for £9.50 that includes 7 or 8 rolls. Moshi Moshi do change their menu seasonally but their vegan selection is always great.

I'd say Moshi Moshi is the restaurant in Brighton that I eat at most, I love it & if I could I'd be giving it 5 Cows!

If you become a member of Moshi Moshi (cost, £10) you can eat for half price every Monday & you can easily pay back the cost of the card in 1 or 2 visits.

Oh & another thing, If you're unsure which items on the belt are vegan you can just order from the menu or just ask one of the helpful waiting staff who'll be happy to grab what you're looking for. I know the first time I went I was worried about biting into something & realising too late that it wasn't veg friendly!

Pros: Amazing food, Excellent value, Beautiful restaurant
