I love our co-op!

The Moscow Food Co-op is one of my favorite places. The staff are always friendly, and I can always find something to eat. I like the new hot bar options which almost always feature a whole grain, veggies, tofu and a rotating sauce to make Buddha bowls.

Pros: Lots of options, Nice people

Deli bar

Rotating vegan options through the deli bar — went there four different times for lunch over a two week period and they had different vegan things every day (including a tofu pocket/samosa one day, which was really good).

Lots of vegan options!

Happy to find this place before I start my freshman year at WSU! They’re just like PCC or a small Whole Foods. Lots of zero waste storage and supplies. Lots of vegan options in the deli area! We tried the loaded hummus and veggie sandwich and it was delicious! Tried a bunch of pastries as well. Almond raspberry thumbprint cookies are delicious!! The fudgy lentil brownies were interesting, but very good! They were very smooth and light, with a little rich frosting. The chocolate raspberry cupcakes were amazing too! dense and so worth it!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Student card for $10/yr, Sustainable local organic produce

Better than going to a restaurant

When ever I go to Moscow i can't pass this place up. They have a great variety.

Pros: Lots of clearly labeled vegan items. Dining area , With artwork and self busing station.

Cons: They change menus often so if you find a favorite, Item buy a lot of it. They may not have it again

Come for the surgery, stay for the co-op!

I visited Moscow several times for my top surgery and was delighted to find a place to get great vegan food, natural supplies to help my healing, kombucha on tap, and local beers. My mom accompanied me and we now think of the Co-op fondly as our place in Moscow. The co-op is on the free bus loop that circles Moscow (with a stop near the surgeon) and is near a shop that rents bikes. A co-op picnic bike ride in the beautiful Palouse is the best way to spend a day that starts with an out-of-town medical appointment! Definitely trans* friendly staff, though I don't remember off hand if their bathrooms are all-gender or just single-occupancy uni-gender.

So Many Options!

The cold serve bar was distinctly labeled if something was vegan with a V. There was so many vegan choices! Their vegan calzones are superb. I recommend the marinated tofu. It tastes like chicken. I was not a fan of the jerk sauce BBQ tofu though.

Pros: Tofu calzones, marinated tofu , options

Cons: jerk sauce tofu

Great market!

After visiting the "co-op" in Laramie, WY last month I went in with skepticism. But, this is a very nice grocery store. It has a large bulk buy section and has a lot of the vegan brands you would recognize for meat and dairy alternatives. The staff is very friendly and I thought it was affordable. If you tell them you are a member of another co-op they give you a guest member discount!

Pros: Good selection, Convenient downtown location, Friendly staff

Favorite place to shop...

The coop has everything I need from a quick bite, to fresh veggies, to toiletries. I love my coop! They now have programs in place to be more affordable to more people...:) awesome!

Pros: Helpful Staff, Vegan options in prepared food section, easy to find what you are looking for

Cons: many cannot afford to shop there, sometimes the tables stay dirty, dishes are not washed regularly

Moscow Food Co-op

This food op is one of the few places in Moscow that has veggie/vegan options. I had the pecan toffee and it was well worth the $7.00. I will definitely get some more when I am back.

Pros: Friendly, Deli, Options of veggie/vegan

Cons: Expensive

I LOVE my Co-Op!

Moscow Food Co-op is vegetarian and vegan friendly. Most prepared foods are organic. They have live music Tuesday evenings. The staff is very knowledgable and there are books available for browsing. I buy most of my groceries at the co-op and often stop for a sandwich from the deli. They have 2 soups everyday as well as salads and sides. They bake all there own bread from scratch and it is all wonderful. Try the pesto cheese rolls. They are a meal in themselves. The desserts are quite yummy and the have several gluten-free options.

The Co-op hosts a mid week Farmer's Market. They also have a barbeque and musical entertainment for a nice evening out on the patio.

Awesome people, great food, art gallery, musical entertainment - what more could you want? If you are ever in the Moscow-Pullman area, please stop by. You won't be disapointed!

Pros: knowledgable staff, Vegetarian and friendly, organic produce

Cons: parking can be challenging at lunch time
