Great Comfort Food at Local Establishment with long Wait Times - Edit
A local favorite, Morning Glory’s pared down rustic charm and whimsical art is conveniently located next to the Amtrak station. Always busy, expect a wait to be seated. Catering to vegans and vegetarians, items can be modified and they serve vegan butter and non- dairy milk.

100% worth a visit - Edit
I went there for breakfast on my way out of Eugene and I’m so glad that I did! This place is not only super cute, but has an amazing selection of vegan breakfasts. I ordered 2 different things because I couldn’t decide!
Read moreThe waffles were delicious and even though I’m not usually into sweet breakfast, I ate them with gusto (I ordered half portion and it was still really big). The Three Sisters (a mountain of veggies covered in nutritional yeast sauce) hit the spot for me, but I had too much food, so it became lunch (the half portion of it is still a lot). My non vegan partner really liked his omelette. If I’m ever back in Eugene, I’m definitely going to stop by at Morning Glory again!
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Good coffee , Cute decor and stickers
Cons: Ummm, too far from where I live?

Fresh & Delicious Vegan Food - Edit
Morning Glory is an adorable little vegetarian cafe in the heart of Eugene! Their menu is fully vegetarian, but most items can be made vegan, I would just make sure to double check with the staff. I had a tofu scramble with crispy seasoned potatoes and my mom ordered a tempeh sandwich and a side salad. Both items were fresh tasting, hearty, and delicious! They also have a pastry case with vegan pastries that you can take to go!

I've been here twice so far. Both times had a great breakfast. The tofu scramble is yum and can definitely recommend the biscuits and gravy as well.

Love, love, love - Edit
About the only thing I don't like about Morning Glory Cafe is that it is generally crowded. There is a very good reason for this -- it is an excellent restaurant with good vegan options. For some reason, their vegan sandwich always holds together and tastes wonderful. When I try to make one at home, it falls apart and is pathetic. I generally am too full for dessert after my meal, but the desserts in the display case are to die for, and there's nothing stopping you from getting dessert to go, to enjoy at home later. My favorite place to eat breakfast or lunch in Eugene.

Amazing breakfast/brunch for vegans and vegetarians - Edit
My husband’s seasonal pumpkin waffles were amazing! Just perfectly caramelized along the bottom edges. Topped very generously with walnuts. Delicious! Oh, and my morning glory vegan sandwich was tasty too - so impressed with how they turned tofu into a convincing herbed soft cheese spread. Also loved my creamy soy latte.
Read moreMy only suggestion would be to amend the menu to show a symbol next to vegan/vegan-ifyable options - or if everything is vegan-ifyable (which would be awesome), maybe say that somewhere, declare it proudly!
Pros: Many delicious vegan options, Tons of bicycle parking right in front, Cute, whimsical decor
Cons: Menu does not label vegan/ifyable options

🍳 yummy brunch!! - Edit
the orange juice tasted suspiciously like grapefruit which isnt good because im on meds, but they remade it for free......and it still kind of tasted like grapefruit. Hoping it wasnt grapefruit. Otherwise the food was delicious!!! The biscuits and potatoes were soo good and the over easy eggs were cooked perfectly!!! no runny whites. And dont even get me started on the cinnamon rolls 😭 they were DELICIOUS and huge haha

Very delicious vegan food! - Edit
This place is not fully vegan but they had absolutely scrumptious vegan options! We ordered the Vegan Biscuits and Gravy and the Happy Morning Sandwich, as well as some coffee and pastries. Both dishes came with super yummy mushroom gravy that was to die for! Great pastries as well. The restaurant was bike friendly and, although we couldn't dine in due to covid, it was lovely on the inside with beautiful painted walls. Service was great too, and prices were reasonable.

First of all, there is a full case of vegan baked goods at the register. Vegan moon pies, vegan bear claws, vegan blueberry coffee cake muffins; and all sooooo good! Then there is the menu with so many options. We had the vegan red velvet waffles, the vegan apple French toast, and a creative vegan omelette where the egg was replaced with hash browns and filled with veggies and tofu! It was so amazing. Wish I lived in Eugene just for this place.

My favorite place in Eugene! - Edit
Been frequenting this restaurant for 15 years, through ownership/management changes and it just improves. Food portions are generous, bursting with flavor, and most all bakery case items are vegan. They also serve my favorite coffee from local roaster, Café M'am. Admittedly, I wish this place would get the recognition garnered by Cornbread Café from the Food Network as I believe the food here is far superior, although not all vegan.
Read moreHaving tried nearly everything on the menu, faves are the nachos, pesto omelet (they can veganize upon request), vegan Caesar and the Fusion. Specials are ever changing and always fantastic.
Pros: Generous portions, Bold flavors, Best coffee (Cafe M'am)
Cons: Busy times can lead to 30 min+ wait-BUT WORTH IT
