Absolutely adored this place! Got the BBQ Style Impossible Sliders and the Wild Berry Pop Tart. All of it was amazing. Love the food, the graphic design, the decor, the whole vibe, all of it.

I was in Louisville for a couple of weeks and went to Morels twice. They have a small menu mostly sandwiches and burgers. My favorite was far and away the pop-tarts! I had one each time I went and they were excellent.
Read moreI also had the Philly Cheesesteak Fries which were good and pretty much what you'd expect. Then I had the Farby, I braised Tofurkey roast beef sandwich with cheese and ranch. I don't like ranch so I had them hold it. This wasn't my favorite but maybe it's my fault for not getting the ranch.
They also have some takeaway salads and jerkys for sale. Overall, a nice little cafe and I would go back.

Great if you have cravings for certain sandwiches/meals! I have yet to find a dish here that I don't like. One of my favorite places, and the edgy/80s vibe is super fun.

This is definitely some of the best vegan fast food I've ever had! The fake chicken sandwich actually tastes like Chik-fil-a! We are willing to make day trips from Nashville every once in a while just to eat here it is so good! It can get really busy, so I suggest going when there isn't a lunch rush.

If you want to eat good vegan fast food youre right here! For health food probably wrong. The prices are pretty good in relation to the portion size. The food is spicy aswell as tasty and there are several options to choose from.
Read moreThe Restaurant is nice and in the back they have a big biergarten where you can sit pretty good. Lots of nice people there. Further you can buy lots of stuff for takeaway, such as pizza, dips, jerky and more.

We split the chili cheese hotdog and the broccoli salad. So comforting! We shopped the "forest," and grabbed some jerky and a scratch poptart for the morning. Love this place!

Enjoyed our first visit to Morels Cafe. I had the Farby & it was quite tasty. My husband enjoyed the Grilled Cheddar Mushroom Bacon Burger. We ordered Mac & Cheese & it was spicy which did not realize it would be. I looked at the online menu & it's listed as Nacho Mac & Cheese with Fritos which explains why it was spicy. Overall, everything was very good. I did mention it to staff & found out that they have a "kids" version which is not spicy. Good to know for future reference.

If you are eating vegan to avoid harming animals, I support your choice. If you are eating vegan to be more healthy, this is not your restaurant. Greasy and processed! Tastes great but will make you fat and unhealthy.

We had a really good dinner at Morels cafe. Nice ambiance cosy with pink and blue lights. Eclectic staff very kind and very stylish. The food was overall very good. A for the waffle fries ... addictive! The ranch sauce is awesome too. They have homemade products to go, fresh tea, and a lot of little ready to go items , some from the owner personal products ( like vegan jerky all flavors.. awesome ). We will come back 🙏

By far the best veggie/vegan friendly restaurant I’ve ever had. Come here quite often and have tried just about everything. The buffalo wings, tomato feta salad, and the backyard burger are my favorite thus far.

I was in town visiting family and we came to Morel’s. First off I love the way it is decorated. It’s got a cool feel. We had the Philly cheesesteak fries for our appetizer and they were delicious!! I tried the chick-faux-le regular style and buffalo style. I’m not crazy about the plain sandwich but it was really good buffalo style. I also got to try the sliders and they were really good. My sister in law got the diner burger which is good but I tend not to like your basic hamburger type sandwich (basic toppings). I never was a burger fan. If you get fries as a side they are huge portions. The seasoned waffle fries and the curly fries are both really good. We also got some mac n cheese. It’s probably the best vegan mac I’ve had to date. They also have Hi Five donut holes which is great because I got to try them without having to rush over after lunch. You do have to bus your own table which I didn’t realize til we were leaving but the staff was really kind about it. We got enough food to enjoy lunch and have leftovers for dinner later. I loved my visit!

The first vegan restaurant I ever visited and was impressed. Staff was so kind and excited to talk about local vegan events and inform me about what dishes were made of. Took my non-vegan mum and she loved it as well!! Nachos, mac n’ cheez, and chicken/burgers. Definitely more of a comfort/faux food place. Loved it!

I came here for dinner while visiting and there was a sign on the door that they'd be closing early for a company event. With only ten minutes before that time I felt bad ordering a whole sit down meal so I got the jalapeno chorizo mac n' cheese to-go instead. This was easily the best mac n' cheese I've ever had, vegan or not. It was so creamy and flavorful that I almost had to question that it was vegan. I will definitely be back here the next time I'm in town to order a full meal!

Loved it. We ate here on our first night in Louisville. Burgers, fries, wings...how can you go wrong. I enjoyed their slider and fries with a side of buffalo wings. Great spot for a veg meal for sure!

Best Vegan Restaurant Ever! - Edit
This is by far the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to. My husband and I have traveled (and tried vegan restaurants) all over the country (and Europe) and both agree that when it comes to food, staff and the restaurant itself, nothing beats Morels Cafe! The staff was genuinely friendly and down to Earth. Between the delicious menu items, deli case and small shop everyone is sure to find something they like. We have a 9 year old, 5 years old and one year old who enjoyed the food and atmosphere. All of the food we tried (which was a lot for a great price) was absolutely delicious! Highly highly recommend Morels Cafe to anyone looking to dine out in Louisville!
