Topping up on Pizza - Edit
Popped in to MZ and had standard base (not GF) pizzas; the Forest (tomato, vegan cheese, vegan ham, wild broccoli, fresh onion, mushrooms) and the Chick & Pesto (tomato, vegan cheese, artichoke, pesto, vegan chicken, rocket). It was so good to eat quality pizza, surrounded by Italian chatter and happy people. An expensive yet great experience. I say expensive simply because 2 pizzas and 2 small glasses of red came in just under £60. At the time it was worth it and upon reflection, it continues to be worth it.

I wish Morelli Zorelli would go fully vegan, it does vegan pizzas so well! There are loads of topping options including vegan proteins. I ordered here about once every three weeks for the 5 years I lived in Brighton.

We ordered a vegan starter which we ate and then my vegan pizza came and the cheese looked and tasted too much like mozzarella, so I queried it and was told I had been given real cheese. I felt shocked and disgusted. The chef said I'm sorry, I'm human. This was the appalling attitude to his actions and dismissal of animal abuse. Forget this place.

Great tasting pizzas made with sour dough in a stoneowen. Two different vegan cheese to choose from. I recommend the "veganic" cheese for the best taste. The staff was really friendly and gave us a good time.

Great range of vegetarian and vegan options - restaurant is small so you're likely to be rubbing elbows with other divers on busy days. But the food is really good so that's hardly a hardship.

Morelli Zorelli are tucked away in the Hove area of Brighton and Hove, but are an absolutely MUST visit. A massive vegan pizza menu, complete with fake meats and fake cheese, or veggies and tofu if you prefer! Many are also gluten-free. All pizzas are cooked in an authentic stone bake oven. You can also order delivery too. Vegan booze is on offer too. Honestly, the best vegan pizza I've ever had.
