Lovely vegan BnB - Edit
We spent a very enjoyable and relaxing long weekend at Moorakyle retreat, a beautiful cottage situated within an animal sanctuary, with lovely views of the residents of the sanctuary and forest beyond. The cottage is very well presented and comfortable enough for long or short stays. Linda was a lovely host and treated us to local organic vegan wine, chocolate, olives, jam, fresh fruit and sourdough. very serene location but only 15 minutes drive to Dayelsford - Hepburn Springs. We enjoyed having some of the animals come over to say hi when they felt comfortable or just observe us curiously from a distance. Highly recommend spending a few days at Moorakyle retreat

A beautiful and relaxing place to stay. - Edit
Moorakyle is a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. It feels a world away from Melbourne but is actually only a 90-minute drive.
Read moreOur host Linda greeted us and had the fire going for our arrival. She had also left a bottle of wine out for us which was a nice surprise. Poppy the cat enthusiastically greeted us when we ventured onto the veranda.
The stylish cottage looks out over fields of grazing horses, sheep, llamas and donkeys. The bed is a king and is incredibly comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
