They made an announcement yesterday on their social media accounts that they added cow to the menu. Be careful when ordering. Status needs to be updated on here that they are no longer vegetarian.

Great vegan / vegetarian - Edit
The menu is simple - just burgers, shakes, and fries - but they're all phenomenal. I got a strawberry shortcake milkshake (the other flavor was brownie batter) which came with whipped cream and was probably the best vegan shake I've had. Pretty much everything is vegan, with the exception of cheese on the burgers (vegan cheese is available) and cheese dip for the fries.

I really like that they exist in the world, but I wish they would switch to a different burger that wasn’t made with super crappy ingredients. That said, it’s delicious.

Great vegetarian and vegan fast food in New Paltz - Edit
Yay, another vegan choice in New Paltz! This is a new branch of Moon Burger, their first being in Kingston. They are a fast food burger joint with four counter stools and a wire bench outside. It's a very small place but the food is great.
Read moreThey use Impossible burger patties and their cheeseburger has dairy cheese or vegan cheese for $1 more. They also have non-dairy shakes (the chocolate brownie batter shake was excellent) and non-dairy whipped cream as an option. The fries were hot and crispy.
My vegetarian daughter, non-veg. wife and I would all go back.

Moonburger has become my favorite place in New Paltz. Burgers are pretty delicious, and the milkshakes are honestly my favorite milkshakes of all time. Even my non vegetarian friends really like this place!!
