There's a good range of options from hearty breakfasts, to light lunches and big plates as well as a changing rotation of yummy cakes.
Read moreSometimes great vegan cafés score lower on the coffee front but not here! They serve up Extract coffee with various plant milk options... And there's even specials! I went for the biscoff crumb one. So good.
Normally I'd be reluctant to order scrambled tofu, simply because the one I make is so good. The one served up here though gets top marks. I absolutely loved it.

Fantastic, menu, with all day breakfast with tofu scramble, chili, tagine, flatbreads, jacket potatoes. Nachos, plus lots more, yummy baked goods and very gluten free friendly too!!!

What an exceptional café in the heart of Scunthorpe! Looking for a fully vegan cafe near Scunthorpe, we didn't expect Happy Cow to offer anything.... How wrong we were. Moon Coffee House offers exceptional food served by its owner who is incredibly warm and enthusiastic about what they do. The cafe oozes quality from the setting, to the drinks to the food options. I can guarantee that anyone coming would not be disappointed. If I lived in Scunthorpe it would definitely be a regular haunt for me.

My lunch turned into a takeaway but so beautifully packaged eco friendly too. Had a cheese and cucumber sandwich with lovely side salad extra fresh and homemade crisps, spot on for a picnic as well. The Easter bunny lemon cake looked really pretty. So, well presented good quality food and nutritious and vegan friendly. Just remembered got a bar of chocolate for my friend who is vegan called Dirty Cow which actually lead into her telling me about her trips to India for Yoga training where she stroked the cows but was a bit dirty at times haha.

Cool New Vegan Cafe - Edit
This is a really nice cafe with a good atmosphere. The menu offers a good choice of breakfasts, snacks and lunches cooked with fresh ingredients. We had a superfood salad and a tomato, coconut and chickpea soup, and both were delicious. There is a great selection of cakes and drinks. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit!
