moody mike's is a gem of a food truck in Lexington. one thing to note is that you should check their hours on their Instagram/Facebook, since they're a food truck and they don't necessarily have consistent hours/locations.

You never ate with us… You and your friend came when we weren’t open. Y’all had just gotten out of the vehicle when the owner advised you and your friend that we weren’t open. Then both of y’all left reviews on everything with false statements which is actually slander. How can a place be dirty when it’s professionally cleaned every other week? The health department actually LOVES coming to our truck because of cleanliness (multiple 100% scores). When other restaurants try to do what we do, it must be more appealing than morning star 🤣

Moody Mike’s is absolutely fantastic. Everything I’ve eaten from them ranges from “really good” to “excellent,” and the menu rotates pretty often so there’s almost always something new to try. My favorite dish here is probably their reuben, but seriously you can’t go wrong. Their oatmeal cream pies are also to die for.
Read moreThey’re listed as a food truck here, but they’re almost always located somewhere that allows for indoor and/or outdoor seating. I’ve caught them mostly behind the Pasta Garage (you can sit inside the Pasta Garage) or at Pivot Brewing (my fav, where I can bring the food in and have a beer).

This was our first time ordering from Moody and I am so excited to say all their options are vegan! We had such a great experience with our order and the food was so delish! I really recommend giving them a try! I loved the wings and my husband liked the chickn sandwich the most. Their menu has something for everyone. When you order online, just call when you get there and they will bring your order out.
