Tasty but slow - Edit
There is an okay vegan selection but could be better, especially on cakes. The food is tasty with lovely salads and wide range of drinks. However, across several visits, the service is always very slow.

I really, really wanted this place to be great, it’s so lovely inside, cosy and classy.
Read moreSadly caught the cafe at a really busy time and waited 45 minutes for food and a long time for drinks. A few people actually left and complained about the wait . I was very hungry when the food arrived and so it tasted fine but actually, the reality is that is fell way below the mark. Staff were really friendly though so I didn’t make a fuss 😬

The tofu ciabatta here was delicious but there was only two options for vegan food. Even the tofu ciabatta had to have the coleslaw removed.

Lovely place but vegan menu not great - Edit
This is such a lovely little cafe. The staff are super friendly, and the salad we had was really tasty - but there wasn’t anything specifically vegan. And the options that could be vegan seemed to be few and far between. There was one vegan cake though, which looked good.

I think Mooch is the only cafe in Hebden that’s open every day! LOVELY staff and very accommodating with allergens. Lots of vegan options, with many able to be made GF (though check with servers). Usually vegan cakes available, daily. Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly.
