Best burger ever - Edit
When friends told me I have to hit Montys I didn't understand. It's just an impossible burger. What could be so special about it? But wow once I tried it, it all made sense. You CANNOT come to LA and not come grab at least 1 burger here

The go to Vegan burger - Edit
Before all the vegan burger shops exploded in LA, this use to be my all time favorite place to go. The burgers and fries are amazing. I've had friends come and not like it as much, but those were mostly non-vegans. I love this place. The service is quick, the food always yummy. It's on the expensive side though

Best Vegan “Fast Food” - Edit
Monty’s has the best vegan burger I have ever had. I got the double cheeseburger and the dogpile tater tots. If you take away nothing else from this review, you need to try the dogpile tots. I crave them nearly every day. My non-vegan family also loved this place.

Curled toes - Edit
I ordered a chicken sandwich and a single cheeseburger along with a milkshake and fries . Bro , the chicken sandwich with a bit of mustard on top oooo made me feel some type of way . Milkshake wasn’t overly sweet and fries were good . Burger bite was top tier . Y’all the chicken sandwich was so scrumptious, I’ve never had anything like it . I was seeing stars with the chicken sandwich and believe me I’ve tried a lot of vegan sandwiches nothing compared to that one . Would marry that chicken sandwich, would recommend to you as a fellow vegetarian. 😎💪

So much food! - Edit
If you want your greasy, vegan junk food to be next-level good, this is the spot. I got the loaded fries and didn’t get a burger because the fries on their own were huge. It comes with ranch, cheese and their house sauce, along with two Impossible patties. It’s a lot, but so worth it. Then I got the seasonal shake, pumpkin pie. It was topped with whipped cream and it was so good. The staff was also super nice and helped me choose my items!!

Bucket List Check - Edit
I’ve been wanting to try Montys since I went vegan and saw them on Instagram. But since I lived 6 hours away in Northern CA it was tough. Fortunately I was visiting southern CA and only staying about 20 minutes away. My colleague and I (who is not vegan) went to check them out! Man they did not disappoint! We ordered the chicken with tater tots! It was amazing! We got the onion aoli sauce and Siracha both were great and if you like spicy the habanero was the best! My non Vegan friend loved it and was shocked it wasn’t real chicken !

Even if you get nothing else, get the dog pile fries! Omg they are incredible! A little expensive but it’s worth it. Wish I lived in L.A. so I could get this all the time!

Yummy shakes - Edit
Waited in line but they were kind and had umbrellas during the hot summer. When we finally got yup to the line I realized how small the menu was and the burger was just an impossible patty. Overall the burger was underwhelming compared to other places with house-made burgers. I got a shake with my burger and that was worth the wait. If you like impossible burgers it’s good.

Monty has yummy burgers. It really just tastes like a typical burger which is what I was searching for. I didn't try anything else but I can say that their burgers taste great and aren't super greasy.

Eateries like Monty's Good Burger give me hope for the future that more and more people will begin to adopt a vegan lifestyle. Their In-N-Out Burger-esque flavors are nothing short of delicious.
Read moreI ordered the Single Cheeseburger and Fries & Tots (50/50) which came with 4 different dipping sauces. My favorites are the spicy Habanero and the creamy House Spread.
The staff member who took my order was very pleasant and my food was ready in a few short minutes. The only notable downside was the price (nearly $19 w/ a 15% tip). That being said, I'm happy to give Monty's Good Burger my business and I could see myself returning here soon.
Pros: Completely vegan eatery, delicious food
Cons: Pricey

Tasty Fast Food - Edit
I've only gotten to go to Monty's post pandemic, so I've only had the experience of waiting in line to get a burger. It's a crappy experience, but certainly not their fault.
Read moreIt's an impossible burger with fixins so there is nothing special going on here. There is no IP or secret recipes. So Monty's is processed food and as good as Impossible is good. It's Follow Your Heart cheese. All just standard items from Vons. The burgers are tasty because Impossible is tasty.
There is one glaring issue and that is the cost. It's $11 for a single burger and $4 for fries. So that is $15. You get the same thing from Crossroads for $17. The experience of eating Crossroads is certainly worth more than $2 dollars. Little Pine is $19 for their burger and that is a spectacular burger with garlic fries and that purple coldslaw. Nics does charge $25 for their Impossible Burger.
Honeybee does basically the same as Monty's at $10 instead of $11.
That's the negative, but the positives are that while they are processed food, they are also actually vegan and moving a lot of vegan food to the masses. They are the best at creating a buzz around the vegan burger. So for that, I give them a giant high five. Also the restaurants are fun with a great atmosphere.
Pros: Great locations, Getting a lot of people to eat vegan, Fun vibe
Cons: Processed food , Impossible & Follow Your Heart are grocery items, Expensive

It's the first vegan restaurant that opened up in k-town, and I was disappointed that it's not Korean food, but everything's really good here. It's got a retro burger joint vibe. Try their strawberry milkshake with whipped cream and sprinkles. Owned by Nic Adler.
