I was already pretty full when I went here but it was so yummy that it didn't matter haha I got the chicken burger and the patty reminded me of what I remember KFC to taste like. Also got the pumpkin shake which was dense and awesome

Good Late Night Burger - Edit
I arrived late at LAX and needed a bite to eat. This was the only place open past 10 in the relative vicinity. After a rental car pick up, I made a 20 minute trek to Culver City and got a double cheeseburger and strawberry shake. It was surprisingly filling, as I was about to order some fries too, but felt full. Places like this is why there are so many fat vegans.

Finally went to Monty’s and get what all the hype is for. IT’S SO GOOD! It’s like a vegan In n Out but better. My wife had the Monty’s meal with the grilled cheese, super yummy even though it’s basic. I had the Monty’s double and my son had the Monty’s single. Top 3 all time vegan burger. We shared the dogpile fries (secret menu item), it’s animal fries with 2 patties and 4 different sauces on top. Delicious. I had a vanilla shake and my wife had the cookies and cream, again Top 3 all time. I love that you can get a mini size shake instead of the full size.

Came to this place because everyone hyped it up. It was just good. The double burger fries and milkshake was priced kind of high and the quality was just okay. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was good but dry. The sauces definitely make everything better.

Loved the shakes, probably the nicest vegan shake I’ve had. Impossible chicken burger (really good!) I got the Nashville hot which packed a little kick. Totally recommend checking out if you want a proper American burger experience! Really cool vibe inside also

Their shakes are awesome! Their whipped cream is the best! And I love the “chick’n” sandwich. It’s a bit pricey, but totally hits the spot when I’m craving really rich hearty “fast food”, and it also has a feeling of being crafted with care 💚

Read moreIt was 11 pm at night, and I was craving some fast food. Lucky me, Monty’s was open (it’s rare to be able to get vegan food at this hour, much less fast food).
I got the double cheeseburger, and it was pretty good! The patty had a great texture and consistency. It was honestly hard to tell it apart from beef.
My only complaint is the price. The burger was $16 by itself (no sides) which is a little steep.

Veio meia porção de fritas com casca crocante e meia porção de algo que não faço ideia do que era, mas estava fantástico. Se eu tivesse mais tempo em LA, certamente voltaria ao restaurante.
Convém mencionar que a lanchonete também é muito agradável, bem ao estilo das casas de hamburgers americanas. O atendimento foi super cordial (inclusive eles que sugeriram o 50/50 na batata)
Se você estiver de carro é fácil chegar; a localização é bem central. Se você estiver de transporte público também - a estação de metro de Culver City está a uns 10 minutos andando.

A sensational burger. Not over complicated just fantastic ingredients all the way served with crispy lightly salted tots. Had ranch to dip & some tenders as well. If I lived local I’d be here whenever I needed a burger fix. Staff friendly and efficient. Fairly priced for how good the quality is.

I’ve been to two other locations (Koreatown and Riverside). I’m so happy they opened one in Culver City. I love that they’re open late on weekends. Great for a late night greasy stop after drinking at the nearby bars, lol. Monty’s burger is always delicious, but I agree that the patty is very thin (perhaps that’s why I like it?) The double one is a bit much for me. Their new Oreo shake is delicious! The chocolate one was a bit chalky tasting, but overall still enjoyable. Service is always fast. Overall great stop for some awesome vegan junk food!

Reading some of the other reviews, I expected a great burger. Unfortunately, that’s not what I got. The burger was very thin and not flavorful. It was overwhelmed by the bun and vegetables. The fries and tots were salty and very oily. Prices were also quite high. I would not go back again.

I was so happy Monty's was open late on my first day in LA. I was craving something comforting, and this place definitely hit the spot. I miss the option of going to a fast food restaurant and getting basic classics such as chicken tenders, fries, and shakes. This place will satisfy vegans and nonvegans with a variety of options. I'm always gonna gravitate towards the chicken nugget/ tender option. These did not disappoint. They were crispy, thick, juicy, and very similar to chicken. There were no weird textures or taste. Would definitely recommend it. My friend and I shared the 50/50 with tots and fries. I also got a vanilla milk shake. I didn't realize how tasty they are, I haven't had one in years. It was so thick and creamy, I'm not sure what nondairy milk they use, but it was so delicious. I would definitely come again.

Food is TRASH. You are paying for marketing. - Edit
If you eat here, plan to pay a premium for marketing. The food is trash. The burger is paper thin. No flavor. Bread is dry. Cheese isn’t even melted. The veggies don’t even taste like the veggies they represent. My stomach started hurting within minutes of the first couple bites. I basically forced myself to eat this because I was traveling all day and needed to eat. Plus I spent $56!!! We left half the food on the table because we just couldn’t stomach it. So I get to drive home, 2 hours, with regret, less money in my account, and a bloated stomach. Ugh! Make an impossible burger at home. Save yourself the money and pain. They can’t even season the tater tots for goodness sake. My advice is to go anywhere else. There is an Indian restaurant down the street where you can get way more food, at a significantly cheaper price, and it has flavor & nutritional value. This was so so so bad.
