Amazing Indian food - Edit
This place was really delicious! Portions are huge so I left with lunch for the next day. The previous reviews said they didn’t know what ‘vegan’ was, but the lady that served me did. I asked for roti (naan is not vegan) and she said, “okay, without butter?”

Food was good, but not completely clear what was vegan - Edit
The food was very good. Vegan entrees were (mostly) clearly labeled. There was some confusion, though. Aloo gobi was listed in two separate places on the menu. But, it was labeled as vegan in only one of the two places.
Read moreAside from the entrees, nothing else was labeled. I asked the server which appetizers were vegan. She told me that all were, even though one was described as containing cheese. So, I didn’t feel like I could depend on what was said to be vegan. If there weren’t labeling issues, I would give the restaurant four stars.
Pros: Food was very good.
Cons: It wasn’t completely clear what was vegan.

Hard to know what's vegan... - Edit
The person taking our order didn't know what vegan meant, we almost ordered food with butter in it except that I caught on. She seemed annoyed by my questions. I guess she thinks vegan means no fried food or gluten...
Read moreThe naan has butter, but the roti doesn't. I had the eggplant dish and it was like baby food, my spouse had a curry that was about the same.
Pros: Seriously huge container of rice for 2 entrees, The roti is big
Cons: Few options, Mostly cruelty options, Almost fed us butter

Very vegan accommodating! - Edit
They were very helpful and Veganized a lot of the things on the menu we wanted! We had veggie samosas, mushroom masala, patties, sweet-and-sour potatoes, vegetable Biryani and eggplant bartha. It was all SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! Best meal we had in Palm Springs! Especially recommend the sweet and sour potatoes, mushroom masala and samosas (obvi!), but it’s was all great! We stayed at the Ace Hotel (dog friendly! Even at the pool!!!) and it was super close to that.
