Shrimp and egg in vegan options :( - Edit
Monsoon seems like it’s going to be good, the menu has a multiple vegan options. I’ve been there a few times at other locations and it was good. I really like the soup and the rice dish. HOWEVER, when I went to the Odaiba branch, I ordered both of my usual dishes. No confusion that I wanted vegan (I explained and my Japanese partner explained too, to be safe). When the soup came out, there was shrimp in it. They took it back... then brought out the rice dish. The waiter promised me it was vegan this time, but when I picked up some of the rice, I saw that inside was a whole egg!!! I couldn’t believe they messed up both vegan dishes. It put me off Monsoon Odaiba a lot. The waiter apologized and explained that he thought I said vegetarian... which I didn’t. I replied that vegetarians don’t eat shrimp so that doesn’t make sense... it was awkard and then they charged us full price...
Read moreAnother negative, they brought out the food at totally random times. My partner had eaten his entire dinner by the time my dinner came out. Then I had to wait again for it to be remade after the egg and shrimp incident...
It’s a shame because I’d love to eat there again but, I can’t.

But the staff wasn’t cooperative with making it the buffet and drink set. The did it for us this time but told us it won’t happen next time in the future😒food was good
