Great option in small town - Edit
You never know what you will find in small towns. Thanks to the Happy Cow community, it's always good to find something.
Read moreIt is great that they have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu. They do not charge extra for the vegan cheese. The ingredients were fresh, and I liked the veggie pattie (I like it when you can see the vegetables - I am not a fan of the fake meat stuff).
They had some faux meat options if that is your thing :).
Pros: Service, friendly staff, Separate vegan menu - many options, Fresh ingredients

Tasty burgers - Edit
Lots of options which are labelled clearly, super impressed to see mock meats and cheese offered in a regional area! A few sides to choose from too. Beer garden at the back.

Choices! - Edit
Love that there were several vegan burgers to choose from. Cheesus, Malibu Stacey and the Not Chicken one were all delicious. Chips were tasty but I wish the onion rings were vegan!

So many great vegan options - Edit
Munroe’s do great burgers. Their website has a dedicated vegetarian & vegan page, with five vegan burger options, vegan cheese, aioli and burger sauces. There are two types of patty to choose from (a high quality mock meat and a legume-based one). The chips are great too.

Bland - Edit
They have vegan options but all they do is leave stuff off the burgers without replacing it. We ordered 2 burgers with cheese, sauces ect and they came with plain patties, tomato sauce and mustard. Nothing else. It’s a token offering at best. And obscenely expensive.

Cons: Plain, bland, boring, Expensive

Hi Ace,
Read moreWe’re unsure if perhaps you’re confusing us with another venue, but your review does not accurately reflect our venue or our menu options. We’d greatly appreciate it if you could either remove it or update it with accurate information for our venue.
We have an extensive range of vegan and vegetarian burgers to choose from, none of which are just burgers that would normally contain meat but with items omitted.
All of our burgers (both plant based or otherwise) contain the freshest ingredients possible, and our sauces are made in house by hand, none of the burgers on either menu contain tomato sauce and mustard.
We do offer a kids cheeseburger for fussy eaters which does contain a patty, cheese (vegan option available) and ketchup, though this doesn’t seem to be what you’re referring to.
If your review was a mistake, we’d love to have you come down and try our vegetarian and vegan options sometime.
Warm regards,
The Monroe’s Team
