Cool vibe and delicious food! - Edit
This place is a must for vegans visiting Glasgow! Their menu is 100% vegan and the atmosphere is so chilled and there's a cool little record store inside too! The food is always delicious and fresh. Love the vegan full english, the vegan black pudding and scrambled tofu were LUSH! Last time we visited was for my graduation and it was 30degrees sunshine so we sat outside on the benches and ate brekkie. Love it here 10/10

Our top vegan venue - Edit
Mono is a gem of a place. Myself and my wife MUST visit it every time we are in Glasgow. The food, the drinks, the staff, the atmosphere, the prices are all top notch. Been round the various menus over the years and probably tried everything between us. Bring back the vegan schnitzel please, we miss it dreadfully! And if in doubt try the Mac n cheese. Also has Monorail records in the same location with genuine indie superstars behind the counter. What more could you want? The answer, nothing.

Excellent food but appalling customer service - Edit
I went to Mono with a big group of non vegan friends at the end of last year and it's safe to say we won't be rushing back. The previous times I had been the service had not been great, but my last visit really took the ticket. We were never told that they needed our table back until the very last minute, when we had no other option but go, even though many of us wanted to order dessert or coffees. They also made a huge fuss about splitting the bill, which is very common for a large group. The food is excellent but they really need to work on the poor customer service and bad attitude of staff.

I shared the macaroni and pizza crunch supper with a meat eating friend. It was all delicious. She even commented the macaroni was one of the best she has had.

Great food - good spot for Scottish favourites - Edit
Mono is part of the same family of restaurants as Stereo and the 78 but it's always been my favourite.
Read moreA small but varied menu with small plates, mains, and traditional suppers (to fish, pizza crunch) there's plenty for everyone. They also have a wide alcohol menu and plenty of beers and ciders too.
Their mac 'n' cheese is some of the best in Glasgow and their fake fish (tofu) is so good.
Pros: All vegan, Big venue

Great spot for food and drinks - Edit
Enjoyed the Mac and cheese and Ruben (although not a lot like a Ruben, pastrami was made of tofu). Drinks and record shop a great bonus!

Amazing food - Edit
Food was unbelievably good, the burger was one of the best I’ve had. Meat eater couldn’t tell the difference. Pizza crunch was cracking and what I’d hoped for but wish there was an option to add some veg or something. Staff were really friendly and cool record shop attached.

Loved the food SO MUCH the deep fried pizza was my fave! Never had it before and is a Scottish thing apparently. The staff are absolutely lovely, we were served by Kirsty and she was so sweet.

Mono is still delivering the goods! - Edit
I’ve been away from Glasgow for a few years and was delighted to get along to Mono for some vegan scran last week. Pleased to say it’s still delivering the goods! I couldn’t make my mind up if I wanted the good old mac n cheeze or to try the plant based black pudding, so I asked nicely and the chef whipped me up both in one dish – it was tremendous! Highly recommend. Always great when the kitchen is happy to accommodate your mad requests with some tasty tucker.

Bit quiet, good menu - Edit
We came on a Monday evening so it lacked atmosphere because of being a large, cavernous place with only a few tables occupied. Would like to try on a weekend evening when it's busier. Friendly staff, reasonably priced, good menu. The starters, in particular were good - the griddled sweetcorn and the deep fried cauliflower.
