Vegan cafe nosh fit for an abbott

They are reasonably well prepared for light vegan lunches. They should do the Christian thing and stop serving animal abuse on the side, though!

Pros: Reasonable savoury food options, Choice of plant milks

Cons: Only one vegan cake out of 12+ on display

Lots of vegan options

Really impressed with the vegan options available here, all very reasonably priced. The staff are very helpful if you want to adapt anything from the menu.

Lots of options

The Monk's Kitchen is situated in the impressive Gloucester Cathedral. They have many vegan options and the food is freshly made and locally sourced. The portions are also very good. I have had the mushroom soup and chilli on jacket potato in the past and recently had a pie with sweet potato, butternut and chickpeas which came with trimmings and gravy. The staff are very responsive to veganism and were happy to answer any questions I had over the food.

Pros: Lots of options, Separate vegan menu
