Vegan panini - Edit
The hand cut fries 12$ were perfectly salted , nice and hot & crunchy,
Read morethe oat decaf was my favourite!
with the nice roasted taste , the 14$
panini was a bit dry and not enough sauce ( for me ).
They also sell vegan desserts ,
that was worth buying, it was nice and rich in texture and taste.
Pros: They don't mix the meat and vegan pans together.

Great name ;) - Edit
I couldn’t not visit a namesake cafe when in the area.
Read moreLuckily, the food was also good 😂 In fact, the fries were some of the best fries ever (if you like a crunchy chip), and that’s coming from a vegan who has naturally tried a lot of fries.
I got the panini and a watermelon juice and they were both so so good. Just what I felt like on an active day.
My friend got the burger who said it was really good (and also enjoyed the fries) but a little oily and awkward to eat.
Pros: Separate vegan menu , Quick service , Indoor & outdoor seating

Good vegan cakes. - Edit
Had a coffee and some vegan cakes to take away. Nice chocolate cakes but a bit too sweet for my taste. Didn’t try the savoury menu but good to see it is available

Disappointing meal - Edit
We had the mushroom and spinach toast with extra beans. The hash browns seemed the of frozen variety, and the baked beans were most certainly canned. See pics. Nice place though, and nice staff. Sadly I wouldn’t return.

Good for breakfast/lunch - Edit
We had a good time at Monica’s cafe; good vibe (lots of live plants 🌿) unfortunately the big vegan breakfast was a bit of a let down - it was very dry as there wasn’t a vegan margarine option, it would have been much better with a saucy component like baked beans or something. The homemade pesto was good but very oily, as was the burger option. The quinoa porridge was really good though, smooth and delicious.

The food is so delicious I had a vegan panini. The vegan menu is now attached to regular menu. There is such a great range of vegan options and drinks. Lovely staff and nice sitting areas.

So glad Monica's have a vegan menu! It's not with the "regular" menu so please make sure to ask for it at the counter.
