Okay - Edit
They no longer have a separate vegan menu, but the server was very helpful explaining which were vegan or could be made vegan. The food was ok. They samosas tasted like they were cooked in old oil. I wouldn’t go back.

Full Vegan Menu - Edit
Entire separate vegan menu. Would still inform the server that you want everything vegan as the biryani stated raita but the server confirmed it’s not vegan.

Such yummy Indian food - Edit
The food at this place is amazing, separate vegan menu and so tasty. Service , seating and decor was great too. It was lunch time on Saturday and we were the only people in there which is sad because it was so so good. Looks a little rough from the outside but lovely inside and the food is some of the best I have e er had.

Too Spicy for me! - Edit
I got the chickpea curry and specifically asked for mild spice. The waiter understood and told the chef however my dish was very spicy, even more than my husband who asked for spicy. The waiter apologized profusely and eventually brought sauces to mellow my dish. My husband, who has high standards, said that the food was very good. We were the only patrons in January for dinner at 6 pm. I ended up eating my husband's dish instead. My husband had to go up to the desk to ask for our check because no one brought it out to us for 15 minutes after we finished our dinner.

Amazing Indian Cuisine - Edit
I wish I could give more stars! The food, drinks, atmosphere and service was amazing! The wait staff was super accommodating and helpful. The menu had many tasty options, especially for vegetarians and vegans. The food was out quickly and absolutely delicious. We had appetizers, drinks, two entrees and a side. The prices were very reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. Definitely will be going back when we come back to Niagara Falls.

Hearty Indian Food - Edit
My family and I were highly impressed and satisfied with the food and atmosphere at this restaurant. The location is great and we got to sit on the patio due to Covid restrictions but it was enjoyable. I ordered the Vegetable Vindaloo and my mom ordered the Aloo Gohbi. After trying the Aloo Gohbi, the second I finished the Vegetable Vindaloo, I ordered that dish because it was incredibly flavourful and delicious. If you can’t handle the spice, you can tone it down but I love how spicy and powerful the flavours were. If I could give a non-vegan restaurant five stars because of the vegan options I would, well done and it’s a must visit if you’re a fan of Indian food and are going to be in Niagara Falls area. Super affordable as well!

Amazing food! - Edit
Lots of vegan options. Dal taardka was so good, ask for extra spicy. Pani puri was so good, they even do honey garlic naan made vegan with agave syrup! Vegetable pakaros are amazing too. Good choices. Although some options could be vegan, like Idly.

Amazing Food. Some Rough Edges. - Edit
Vegan menu was satisfying. Excellent flavor. Friendly service. Maybe geared more towards evening patronage. Went for evening & lunch service. That said, bathrooms were a huge turnoff for all of those in my group. Dirty & undersupplied. Ate there twice & didn't "get sick", so I don't have reason to think this is a pervasive issue.

I was very surprised to see that they had a special vegan menu! Food was delicious and there were many options. We had a rice dish with tofu and curry, and another one with vegetables, both were great (NOTE: very spicy! )

This place was sooooo good!!! There are very limited options in Niagara Falls and this place was on point!! They have a large vegan menu and everything is extremely good!! We were there for 4 dinners and we ate here twice!! The staff is super friendly and a very nice place. We are still craving it!!! A must!!!! It won't let me give it a 5 star in the rating but it is a definite 5 star from me!!!

Delicious Vegan Friendly Indian Cuisine - Edit
My girlfriend and I stopped here after an eventful day exploring the many beautiful Niagara Falls Parks. Moksha Indian Bistro is conveneninetly located to the touristy places. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted with with a smile and seated right away. The decor throughout the restuarant is absolutley lovely. We mentioned to the waiter that we have a vegan diet and right away he swapped out our menus for a strictly vegan menu! I was quite impressed. We started our meal with an order of Samosas which were out of this world GOOD! I was able to easily tell that they were handmade :) Both of our main dishes came out soon after and wow were they good! Overall, Moksha is a restaurant I would come back to, if in the area.

Fabulous and lots of it! - Edit
Whatever you do... make sure you’re hungry when you go here as they feed you very well. They had a separate vegan menu, I had Chickpea and mango salad (bowl made of poppadum) followed by Vegetable vindaloo (this was more of a madras heat and made with coconut on top). It came with a tandoori roti and rice and I couldn’t move when I was finished! My husband had veg pakoras followed by chickpea masala. He preferred my main dish but his starter. We are here for another few days so we are going back! Fantastic!

Delicious vegan food in a non-vegan-friendly city! - Edit
Moksha Indian Bistro was a wonderful restaurant to eat at in Niagara Falls, especially given that Niagara Falls is dominated by gross steakhouses and chains.
Read moreThey have a separate vegan menu with about a dozen appetizers and a dozen main courses. They also have a couple vegan dessert options.
I got the Methi aloo (fenugreek leaves and potato in curry), and my boyfriend got the mixed vegetable jhal frazi. Both meals were served with rice, roti, and a papadum cone. We also shared the mango salad as an appetizer. Everything had really nice unique flavors!
I would definitely recommend Moksha Indian Bistro to anyone visiting Niagara Falls. The food was great, the ambiance was nice, it's located close to the touristy things downtown, and the service was friendly.

Super Satisfying - Edit
I was thrilled to find out this place had a variety of vegan options in what seems to be a not so friendly vegan town! Service was great. Food was fabulous. The interior was modern done in a wonderful way. Would definitely recommend to vegans when in Niagara, super satisfying and delicious! Oh and make sure you order the mango salad, delicious!!!

Great Experience - Edit
Visiting the city for business and was pleasantly surprised to find this venue. Not as many vegan options as I'd like - but the Chana masala did the job - made fresh and with warm Roti, it was a great meal. Staff here are very pleasant, the interior is fresh and well maintained. Nice mix of music: from Top 40 to Punjabi Bhangra!

Excellent vegan place - Edit
Has a separate vegetarian menu with vegan dishes marked, happy to work in and amend dishes. Excellent service, food was great from the peanut shooters, mango salads and currys, everything was tasty. Dishes normally come with naan bread, but server suggested swapping to roti as that was vegan, showed good knowledge. Theres not a lot of vegan choices in the area, this was a high quality life saver. Really should get a 5 for catering so well to vegans, but happy cow wont allow it.

Vegan menu in a non-vegan tourist town! - Edit
Niagra Falls is extremely touristy which means you're surrounded by greasy pizza, burger, and steak places everywhere you turn. Our maitre d' suggested Moksha and we got excited when they pulled out a separate vegan menu. Everything was yummy-we had the mango salad which was very unique, muligatawny soup, dahl, and an eggplant dish. Ask for some tamarind sauce to add another layer of flavor to the dishes. We've had a lot of Indian food before and this was definitely worthy of a repeat. Unlike the previous reviewer, nothing we ordered was spicy.

Amazing Indian Food with a twist! - Edit
My wife and I had dinner there last night. The decor looks new and the place is very different from the many Indian restaurants that we are used to....in a very good way. The presentation of the food was creative and really good. I had the peanut shooters for appetizer and it was awesome. A bit spicier than my wife liked but perfect for me. The server was very attentive and brought us the vegan menu when he found out I was vegan. He did warn me that the food was very spicy and boy was he right! For all but those who like "burn your tonsils" spicy stuff, you should ask to tone down the spice. The Chana Masala was excellent but the Vindaloo was just too spicy for me. The server said that I should get Roti instead of Naan because the Naan was not vegan. The Roti was excellent. I was looking forward to trying dessert but they were out of the only vegan option. My wife really enjoyed the ice cream sampler. Overall an excellent restaurant that is a very nice break from the typical deep fried Indian foods that are so often served in the US.
