Awesome vegan lox - Edit
Definitely get the vegan lox. Super flavorful, love all the seeds on the vegan bagel. I’ve had better vegan regular bagels at other NYC spots tbh but the loaded lox is what makes this place worth the trip. Pricey but worth it for a treat!

All gluten free - Edit
I rate this place three stars partly in solidarity with those who must eat gluten-free, as well as in recognition that this place offers more vegan items than is typical for a bagel place-. Among the vegan items they offer are a few sandwiches, salads, and pastries. This place is takeout only (no seating or restrooms). Everything is gluten-free, and their superseed bagel is vegan (as are some of their breads).
Read moreI tried their vegan bagel-cream-cheese-lox and a vegan chocolate zucchini bread; both were pretty good. Their superseed bagel was one of the best gluten-free bagels I have ever tasted. To be sure, even the best gluten-free bagel is far less tasty than a normal NYC bagel—though I realize that if you are allergic to gluten, this is a moot point.
One big complaint: at the cash register, they charged me a higher price than what was listen online and what was listen on the sign in the store. The friendly counter person (who wasn’t to blame, he just pushed the buttons on the case register) promised to tell the owner to update the signs—still, that the signs in the store are out-of-date/deceptive is a bit unethical.

Welcoming & Helpful 100% Gluten-free bakery - Edit
This place is a new branch of the Modern Bread and Bagel. It is small but offers a lot in terms of vegan food.
Read moreI ordered a vegan chocolate cupcake which was amazing.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, I had a question that they weren’t able to answer straight away so they phoned me later to provide me with the answer.
The vegan options are:
Vegan Brioche Bun, vegan Bacon Egg and cheese sandwich on the brioche bun, "the big show" on the brioche bun which includes vegan sausage, cheez and eggs, smashed avocado (with lemon and cracked pepper) on either a vegan superseed bagel or vegan 5&5 superseed bagel, "cool as a cucumber" which includes hummus, green chili sauce, persian cucumbers and za'atar on the previously mentioned bread options. New York Caeser salad which includes: romaine lettuce, kale, vegan parmesan, dill, everything crutons, sunflower caser dressing, crudites with hummus, red lentil & sweet potato soup, fruit & berries cup, signature side salad with kale, cabbage, quinoa and cranberry with dijon vinaigrette, tofu cream cheese, smashed avocado, hummus with olive oil ans za'atar, double chocolate zucchini bread, choclate cupcake, blueberry coffee cake, superseed bagel, focaccia bread, freshly squeezed: lemonade, orange juice and strawberry lemonade, and other prepackaged sparkling drinks, hot & cold tea with plant based milks (extra charge) and cake and cookie mixes.
Most bagels and sandwiches have the addition to add vegan cheese and just egg.
There are vegetarian pizzas as well, one pizza may be vegan but it is unclear.
Pros: Vegan cupcake is extremely delicious , diversity in vegan options
Cons: Only 1 vegan cupcake , Not able to preorder cakes to this location
