Serves meat, vegan options available. Offers a selection of vegan sandwiches and wraps such as sweet potato pakora and hummus, hummus and avocado and falafel and vegan sausage. Smoothies are made fresh and can be made vegan without honey on request. Also usually has vegan cakes on offer and has soya and almond milk for tea and coffee. Open Mon-Sat 10:00-16:00. Closed Sun.

Nice indie cafe with friendly owners

Mocca Moocho is in the heart of Wakefield very close to shops and the cathedral, so a great location
There is lots of seating on two levels and outside.
There are lots of vegetarian options, and the staff are always happy to tweak these to make them vegan.
My favourite is a falafel, veg and hummus wrap which comes with a side salad.
They also do an excellent Vegan seeded flapjack to have with their equally good coffee.

Pros: Central location, Accommodating staff, Tasty food and good coffee

Cons: There’s often a queue on a Saturday , More vegan options would be welcome
