Amazing pita’s

Located behind the church. We had the ‘red’ and ‘white’ pita. Just simple grilled vegetables but an amazing taste explosion! Really satisfying

Decent food

I was a little disappointed that there is no vegan protein available, only veggies and pita. We got the whole cauliflower, eggplant lines, and tomato salad. All tasted good but not filling enough for a meal.

Great spot for pita sandwiches!

Very tasty white pita (cauliflower) and ratatouille pita (requested without egg). Waitstaff were helpful in clarifying what items could be made vegan! Overall, delicious food but slightly noisy bar-like atmosphere. Card payment accepted!

Bit pricy but great

Had the white pitta which was delicious if a bit messy to eat - 10.50 for a pitta filled with cauliflower is quite steep though.
Staff was lovely!

Totally worth it 🤩🤩

I can totally recommend that place! Not only the food, but the atmosphere too are so incredible! I like that you have vegan and not-vegan options, because you can go with friends with different preferences. But also the not-vegans loved the vegan food. The vegetables are 🤤🤤 and you can taste the culture. Love it

Surprise eggs or dairy in everything

No matter what the menu says, there’s an egg on top of the dish or yogurt underneath it. Some menu items state this clearly, some don’t give you any clue. I got the chickpeas and they came with an egg on top. 🤢 It’s super busy all the time and you order at the bar, so it’s hard to get clarification. In the future I’ll just go someplace else where I feel safer eating. The pita was good and there’s free tahini, so for that the place gets 2 stars from me.

Small portions, bland and limited options

I had three vegan options, eggplant, tomato salad and a pita. The food was okay, but not very wel seasoned and rhe vegetables were a bit bland. Also the portions were small, and as they mostly consisted out of vegetables with no meat subsitutes were not filling. Also it was unclear what was vegan

Pros: Some vegan options, Healthy foods

Delicious oriental food

Small place specialising in pita-based dishes. Very tasty and authentically oriental, be prepared: food is a little spicy! Staff is very friendly and happy to assist (please note that veg*n items are not clearly indicated on the menu). We really enjoyed it on our visit!

Pros: Authentically oriental - spicy etc! , Tasty

Cons: Veg*n options not clearly indicated on menu

Good but pricey food

The food is overall good, vegan dishes are not marked in any way. The stuff needs to be asked and can help with the order. All food and drinks needs to be ordered inside - no table service. Only small drinks are offered and quite pricey for Vienna. The food is nice but the prices do not match for what you get.

Pros: vegan options possible , Authentic oriental cuisine

Cons: Expensive , No table service, Only small drinks

Deliciously cooked eggplant

Friendly staff, speaks English well, offers many veggie-based options. However, the menu doesn’t clearly state if vegan or not so you’d need to ask.

Yummy oriental food in the city center

I love Minzen in Vienna. They are informed about veganism and can prepare you many dishes vegan upon request. I always get the cauliflower pita which comes with roasted cauliflower and a lot of tahini. You always get pita bread and sauces for free. The tahini and the cilantro dip are vegan, let out the sour cream.

Pros: Vegan options, Good portions, In the city center

Cauliflower-Gallore

You like roasted vegetables, you're at the right place. Today I tried the roasted cauliflower, it was delicious. The price for the whole cauliflower was okay, the Pitas are a bit pricey. The staff is fun. Sometimes it can be very crowded.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: No vegan dessert

Limited but good vegan options

It’s expensive and there’s a lot of meat, but the vegan options are tasty. Cauliflower at the end of the night was probably bottom of the lot or something because it didn’t taste good like the first time I had it. Their system can be a bit chaotic during crowded times.
