Overpriced low quality but at least it's there - Edit
I visited the restaurant alone as a female solo traveler. I was not made feel welcome and although I read the not so great reviews, in desperation from having travelled all day and feeling very hungry I opted to have dinner there. I chose the vegan gyros plate with fries and salad. The plant based gyros picese had a bland taste with some sort of mixed spice added. The fries were definitely not fresh. The 'salad' was half a tomato sliced with some onions. I had most of it out of pure hunger but couldn't bring myself to finish it all. I then had to wait an age for finally be able to settle my bill.
Read moreOverall, service needs improving, recipe needs improving. I wouldn't have minded paying 16 euros for a gyros plate had it been of nice quality and tasty. I had significantly better plant based kebabs/gyroses in the UK.
Pros: Convenient , Indoor and outdoor seating, Fast service
Cons: Food was not tasty, Waiting staff not friendly, Overpriced

Good traditional Greek food - Edit
The food was good and portions were really big. The waiters could be a bit more professional.

Biggest vegan selection in town - Edit
They have a nice selection of vegan/veggie food on We took a bunch of starters and shared them so we could taste almost everything. The souvlaki was nice although not homemade, grilled veggies and fried zucchini were very good and big portions. The tzatziki was okay but not worth the 6€.

Vegan versions of the Greek standards - Edit
Every town should have one of these these restaurants! They have an entire page just for several Vegan options, including gyros and souvlaki. Knowledgeable staff who knows to direct you to the Vegan section. Portions are huge. For my Gyro sandwich, they could have cooked the meat a little longer but it still hit the spot. Would definitely come back!

Get the Fried Zucchini - Edit
Would do 5 stars if we could! Many vegan options, including vegan gyros, souvlaki, tzatziki, fried zucchini, etc. We had the fried zucchini sticks and the vegan gyro meal (came with fries, pita, and toppings), which was all delicious. Service was good.

Not the best food - Edit
I tried the vegan gyros and was flavourless (14€ was also too expensive in my opinion). The waitress wasn’t able to tell me what was the gyros made of.

Big plates of poor quality - Edit
There are quite some vegan options, however, the quality of the food is not good at all. The burguers are burnt (they are not actually served as a burguer, but rather scattered ingredients on the plate), the french fries are old and tasteless, and the vegetables are spicedless.

Grill veganized - Edit
The menu is very clear: all the vegan and vegetarian dishes on 2 pages.
Read moreAll the dishes were big portions. We had 3 starters (tzatziki, souvlaki, zucchini) and 2 main dishes (gyros) for two people, and this was way too much. The tzatziki is very tasty. For the starters they used the same ingredients as for the main dish (bread, french fries…) so this was a bit boring. The starters could be more light versions. The main dishes were the typical gyros dishes but veganized. These could have been more seasoned.
Pros: Location and atmosphere, Big portions
Cons: Too little variation , Lack of seasoning

Lots of vegan on own menu - Edit
This place has a menu which has two dedicated pages of Vegan and vegetarian food (most of which is vegan), including souvlaki and gyros. Both use a fake meat and Vegan tsitsiki which is delicious. It’s a lovely aspect with seats outside and a park with seating just across the alley. Friendly staff who understand veganism obviously

Good but nothing special - Edit
I read a lot of raving reviews about this place, so we decided to treat ourselves one evening and eat here instead of making food at the camping.
Read moreThere are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and everything is clearly labelled, which is great!
We had the vegan souvlaki and the vegan gyros as a main course, and even though it was good, it wasn't as delicious as I expected it to be. The portions for the main meals were also too big, which meant that we couldn't finish our plate even though we were really hungry. I enjoyed my vegan gyros, but because there was so much of it on the plate and not a lot of sauce, it became very dry and boring by the end, and I struggled to eat it all.
I think it would have been better to try several starters instead of a main mail, portions are really big here so it would have been more than enough.
Staff were friendly and prices are a bit high but fair considering the size of the portions.
Not the best meal we had in Greece, but it was good enough.
Pros: A lot of vegan and vegetarian options, Labels on the menu
Cons: Portions are too big, Very touristic and crowded

Probably the best place for vegans in Nafplio - Edit
This little place is somewhat hidden behind Syntagma square. It definitely stands out as the best place for vegans in Nafplio. The service was excellent and the food was great.
Read moreAlthough, it serves meat dishes, there is a separate menu for vegetarians and vegans (all dishes clearly marked) with lots of traditional Mediterranean food - falafel, zucchini fritters, gyros, souvlaki and salads.
It was moderately priced - €14 for a main.

Nice dinner in Nafplio - Edit
Mitato is a nice and cozy restaurant in the centre of Nafplio. I tried the vegan gyros: it was quite good and very fulfilling! I was happy to see they have a vegan menu (I was so hungry that I took a photo of the starters only 😅).

Awesome! Finally a vegan “meat” plate in Greece. It was super tasty and the price is really reasonable. Unfortunately, we already ate the vegan souflaki and others, before I remind myself to take a picture. Highly recommend.

Would give them 5 if I could - Edit
Delicious vegan food in the old town with so many vegan options to choose from, which is rare in cities outside of Athens. We had the vegetarian platter and changed the kolokithokeftedes to nuggets in order to make it fully vegan and it was amazing and so decently priced! It was also a huge platter, meant for 2 people, however 3 could easily share it.
