Delicious quick lunch

We were in a bit of a hurry, so placed a to-go order at the bar. We watched the chef prepare our meals. He was very attentive and happy to strike up conversation while we waited. I don't like spicy and he made sure to ask how spicy I wanted my meal. The food was delicious and filling. Glad we made the stop and next time will dine in.

Pros: Offer to go , Accommodating , Friendly staff

Misleading portions

Got the zoodles entree and was very disappointed by the portion size - was small for even an appetizer. Go somewhere else where you can get a full meal.

Cons: Small portions, $$$ Expensive

Oasis

Overwhelmed by lobster meat and fried fish joints? Misto is a great find located up the street from the outlet jungle in Kittery. Delicious paninis served with soup or salad make this a can't miss stop after buying more clothes that you probably didn't need.

Pros: Warm and inviting atmosphere, Great food choices

Cons: None for me.

fresh and tasty

Cute restaurant, very clean and beautifully decorated, with a few noted vegan and vegetarian options on their menu. We had the Mediterranean Wrap and the Misto Salad. It was super fresh and tasty, a good clean meal option as this area is surrounded by fried foods. We sat inside but they do have a really nice outdoor deck area and backyard veggie garden. Oh, and their bathroom was like a spa with hand towels and aromatherapy. Very nice touch. :)

Pros: very clean, fresh food, noted vegan options

Cons: more vegan options would be awesome

It was pretty good

I just moved back from living in Chicago which is far more vegan friendly than Maine. So it's always nice to find restaurants with options. They didn't have many. A portobello sandwich that had caramelized onions and roasted reds (this is what I got. It was tasty), a veggie wrap (veg or vegan) and sweet potato fries that came with some sauces which I didn't try because I wasn't sure if they were vegan.

Pros: fresh foods

Cons: small menu

Refreshing New Restaurant

After having spent the week overdosing on lobster, it was our pleasure to find this great new restaurant in Southern Maine with many vegetarian and vegan choices. All of the vegetables in our salads, soups and paninis were from the owner's garden in the back. The green juices were wonderful. The service and the decor was perfect…Maine now has a much needed addition to vegetarian dining in this area.

Pros: Ultra fresh fruits and vegetables
