top tier pastries - Edit
Grabbed a couple of takeaways from here as unfortunately I couldn't make it to Miss Sina's cafe in Marrickville during this short trip, but the small retail store in Surry Hills was close to my accom so I swung past on my way to the airport. The mac and cheese deep dish danish was good but the sour cherry one was out of this world! The cherry filling was rich and syrupy, over a creamy custard layer and topped with streusel crumbs. I even liked the vegan whipped cream on top, which is usually gross for me! Can't wait to try their full brunch menu!

Amazing Vegan Lamington! - Edit
Their Surry Hills location is much smaller than their Marrickville location, however they still serve delicious bakery items and have a small toastie menu.

I had the pizza, which for $11 was super filling and delicious, 10/10 recommend! I also had the cookie which was alright, but a bit hard.
Sadly I missed getting a crookie on this visit but I will not be deterred!

Favorite Café!! 🫶🏼 - Edit
We absolutely loved this bakery! Fully vegan heaven. Especially the viral Crookie! It’s worth to be there at the right baking time to get one. Also the regular cinnamon scroll was one of our favorites. Must visit! 🥰

Yummy baked goods - Edit
Came to takeaway some baked goods as there were no tables available to sit and eat. Customer service was lovely. The cheese and bacon scroll were decent and the cakes/donuts were perfect.

Very nice sandwich - Edit
We went for a late lunch just after 2pm and there was only one lunch option remaining (but heaps of sweet treats) - an eggplant, tomato and spinach sandwich on focaccia. It was really nice. We didn't try any of the sweet treats but they all looked amazing.

Tucked away gem - Edit
Slightly out the way but certainly worth a visit. So many baked goods to choose from, has seating outside. Pain au chocolate was flaky & soft & heaps of chocolate filling but not too sickly

Great Vegan Spot! - Edit
Fantastic Vegan spot! We are so glad we came here for brunch. We stayed down near Central Station but were headed to Taronga Zoo but went out of the way for Miss Sina. And we are GLAD we did. Definitely a must go spot for any vegans.

Yummy pie! - Edit
So nice to have an all vegan place close to the city. The Black Forrest pie was amazing. I was skeptical about the gluten free base but it was delicious! It is definitely a lot smaller than their marrickville store but still had a nice selection. Also had a few Toasties. There is only a few tables outside and no toilets. Staff were really friendly and told me flavour profiles and what they liked.

Good doughnuts, terrible croissants - Edit
Title 👆
Read moreThe cinnamon doughnut was great! The croissant and pain au chocolate not good.
Tasted like butter flavoring was added. There was no chocolate cream in the middle, instead it tasted like hard, cheap dark baking chocolate. Maybe Cadbury’s or something like that.
Dough flake on the outside but doughy in the middle. Would not have again and I couldn’t finish them.
Not European croissants😒
Pros: Nice staff , Good doughnuts
Cons: Croissants not very good , Pricey for what you get.

Vegan Pastries - Edit
Plenty of vegan pastries that look absolutely beautiful and tasted good too! Mostly sweet with a few savoury options. There are gluten-free options supplied by Nutie. They have recently launched a weekend brunch menu as well. Do note that there were only outdoor seats which were subject to weather conditions - our food turned cold quite quickly during winter. I believe they have another branch in Marrickville!

Delicious sweet treats - Edit
Ordered a box of doughnuts and vanilla slice. I haven't had vanilla slice in a really long time. It was amazing, my partner who isn't vegan said it's better than most regular bakery ones. The doughnuts were also good. Really expensive is the only downside.

More organized, fewer options than Marrackville - Edit
They offer fewer savoury options than the Marrackville kitchen, but they seem more organized. Although you will get a few more savoury options at Marrackville, I'd recommend this venue if you're in the CBD area. Similar sweet options, from what I recall. The mushroom toastie tastes the best, but the German and the Parm taste great as well.
