Very good sushi - Edit
The sushi was great, tempura was also good, could have more choice for vegans but they are very accommodating

nope. - Edit
unless you have an unrelenting hankering for japanese food, skip this place. €40 for 8 dumplings, 2 bao buns and some water. this was between 2 of us. the portion sizes were TINY, service charge €3 each (with bad service too!) and the food mediocre at that. we left hungry and hugely disappointed. everything was so small, i’d highly recommend going elsewhere… you can get pizzas for €6 somewhere nearby.

PERFECT - Edit
Everything was perfect. I want that restaurant and service in my home town.
Read moreI've never had such good Asian and sushi food outside of Germany, especially not in Italy. Apart from the fantastic ambience, the service was simply outstanding and our waiter was really so good, I had to tip extra and praise the staff and chefs because it was really extremely good. There was a lot of vegan choices, I couldn't make up my mind.

Pretty good - Edit
A good option instead of all of the Italian cuisine that’s available. They do have a vegetarian/vegan menu. I had the vegetarian boa and it was just okay.

Good food - Edit
The vegan options aren’t labeled, but they are good. There is very little vegan protein (something we’ve found in a lot of restaurants in Italy) besides edamame.

Vegan Noodles - Edit
Although there were vegetarian options labelled, I assumed vegan for some. Had the miso soup, vegetable tempura and vegetable udon. Was expensive, the noodles were a little oily but apart from that food was tasty.

Very expensive but tasty - Edit
I came with my mother to eat here. Their food is not what you would expect from a traditional Japanese establishment but instead, they have added their unique twists to the dishes - which made it even more enjoyable, imo.
Read moreThere is a large variety of vegan dishes, which are clearly marked in the menu. I went for Kappa maki (7,5€) and wakame salad (5,5€). They were very tasty and the portion are a little larger than in a normal Sushi shop. (8 kappa maki instead of the Standart 6 and around ×1,5 times the normal portion size for the wakame salad.)
My non-vegan mum ordered fish, which was only slightly more expensive than the vegan alternatives. She loved the Suzuki and Amaebi, btw, as they were very fresh and thickly sliced. With some of her orders, they even picked the fatty and normally more expensive parts of the fish. It was worth the price.
In comparison, I felt a little cheated with the vegan options. The fish is expensive but the cucumber probably wasn't that expensive. Yet, you pay nearly same price.
For 8 nigiris, 8 makis, one salad, one wine and a bottle of water we payed around 50 EUR (2 people). And if we hadn't eaten something beforehand, it would not have been a filling meal either.
Another plus are the spacious tables. Very stylish shop.
And the food came rather fast.
Another minus is the staff. They poured in water only for one of us, did not look at us even once while serving and generally gave off a unfriendly (perhaps stressed?) aura. They were still professional, so it wasn't too bad but still a little uncomfortable.
Pros: Fast serving, Tasty, Spacious tables
Cons: Very expensive

Good food & nice atmosphere! - Edit
The atmosphere here was nice and modern. vegetarian options are clearly marked on the menu. They offer the classic vegan Japanese appetizers (sea weed salad, edamame, dumplings) along with several vegetable rolls and a few noodle dishes. The food isn’t anything that you probably haven’t had before but it’s well done and the portions are nicely sized.
