Highly recommend! - Edit
They don't have many completely vegan dishes but you can just order the dishes without cheese or eggs. The taste is so good we were there twice within a few days! The coffee is very good as well they have soy milk and oat milk

Great brunch spot - Edit
There was a few good vegan options, and some good vegetarian ones too! The chickpea and mushroom burger was 10/10 in my opinion, tasted really fresh and not too heavy! We also got the vegan pancakes, fresh and warm, good toppings.

Small and expensive dishes - Edit
They have two full vegan dishes - vegan bowl and vegan pancakes with fruit. Also there are vegetarian dishes and it is possible to make them vegan (for example falafel salad, quinoa salad). But the dishes are really small and expensive. We get two different salads and they were like a starters, we were hungry very quickly again.

Slow service and very confused about vegan option - Edit
The place is really nice and the food well presented and rich. On the other side I had a negative experience at lunch... I read other reviews that said it has vegetarian options and they are able to make them vegan easily. I chose the quinoa without feta and greek yogurt dressing because they were out of the falafel plate (in fact 2 other non vegetarian options weren't available). The waitress wasn't helpful in making the plate vegan. I asked to make it vegan and she asked me confirmation if it was enough to take away the cheese and the yogurt dressing, as if she wasn't aware what was vegan in the plate and what wasn't. They also served a dressing that wasn't in the description and I found out that it was made of mustard and honey because it was in the description of another plate... Would have been better to write it and I would have asked not to have it since it isn't vegan.

nice, but nothing to write home about... - Edit
Nice place, good atmosphere. Very centric so place was crowded on a weekend at noon.
Read moreThe vegan options are few. Food takes a long time to arrive. I ordered the chickpea bun in the vegan version but got the regular version, with cheese and mayonnaise :(

Good option in Belem - Edit
Luckily there are vegan friendly places like this in this very touristy area. On the menu there are several vegan options, I chose a spinach, quinoa and avocado dish that was quite tasty, although I missed some protein. Recommendable.

A veggie/vegan oasis in Belem - Edit
Food has been so easy in Lisbon but we were apprehensive about visiting Belem as HappyCow listings are scarce and reviews seemed mostly negative. Miolo was a delight though! We stumbled in from the heat and were revitalised by fresh juice and extremely speedy service. I loved the jackfruit bun and husband really enjoyed the falafel plate. The fresh orange juice was particularly lovely. Wonderful staff. Service is so efficient we went from queuing for a table behind two other couples to being seated and ordered within ten minutes. A little haven for sure!

Honey with vegan pancakes :( - Edit
The place itself is quite nice and cozy, workers are really friendly and the coffee was good. But pancakes that are called vegan in menu had honey as a sauce :(((((

Not very vegan-friendly - Edit
As-is vegan options are limited to coffees with oat or soy milk and a stack of vegan gluten-free pancakes. The waiter was not knowledgeable about veganism and told me the salmon was vegan and that most of the dairy and egg heavy vegetarian dishes were "almost vegan". I could still have ordered a vegetarian dish with modification but it would have completely changed the flavor of each dish as many had dairy or mayo-based sauces that seemed to be the main flavorful component. Many also had brioche buns which would require substitution. Compared to the fabulous vegan restaurants in Lisbon and the many vegetarian and omnivorous restaurants that offer multiple vegan options, this place was a let-down.
Read moreMilo's redeeming qualities were that the interior was cute, the coffee was good, and the pancakes were plated beautifully. The pancakes themselves were chewy and kind of gluey to the point that I couldn't even cut through them with the butter knife provided. I'm giving two stars because the vegetarians I was with enjoyed their meals.

Unexpectedly very very good - Edit
I had lunch while sightseeing in Belem, and not only that I had quite a few options to choose from, bet the presentation and taste of everything was more than I could have expected from a place with "vegan options". A wonderful place to eat while in Belem!
