Great service but a little disappointed

We went there based on a review cause I've been dreaming of eating a vegan donut.

Service was fantastic and the soy flat white was very delicious but I went there for their made in-house vegan donuts, which looked amazing.

We chose 4 for $20 as this seemed like the better option and ment that I get to have 2 donuts, having to share with 2 kids. I chose the lemon meringue donut, lord knows I love a tart lemon meringue so not only was I going to get my donut, I was also getting lemon meringue which made me doubly excited. The whole thing was a letdown 😵.

I wouldn't call them donuts rather a dense round slice and as for the tart lemon it was just simply nonexistent. Now if they were rectangle and advertised as a slice I would have been somewhat happy. The taste was nice and went well with the coffee. They are kept very chilled and slightly wet on the bottom. It was a thumbs down from the kids, 12 year old commenting while eating that they weren't sure if they liked it, they chose the strawberry. The 9 year old taking 2 small bites and not wanting anymore cause it tasted bad and was wet, they had the Blueberry.

I found it to be reasonably priced which was a plus however I don't plan on returning. There were busy so it seems like many people were happy with the food and service so I wouldn't say not to go there, just don't expect a traditional donut.

As you can see I do love donuts which is why this cuts so deep 🥺

SERIOUSLY amazing vegan options!

A whole display case of vegan donuts (flavours like Pistacio and Raspberry, Snickers (sorry there are none in the photo - I bought them all!), Mango, Bounty, Lemon, Chocolate Hazelnut, Orange and Passionfruit, Purple Sweet Potato etc - sooo delicious!) $6.50 each or 4 for $20 - worth every penny! (How can they taste this amazing when they are also gluten free, refined sugar free and BAKED???) The vegan sesame seed and peanut butter bliss ball was large, delicious and under $4.

Several vegan breakfast bowl options, avo smash and delicious vegan focaccia. My omni friend chose a vegetarian option which she said was excellent.

Great service, comfortable place - great size - lots of choices for vegans, veggos and omnis. I would DEFINITELY eat here again. Highly recommended!
