Serves meat, vegan options available. This restaurant was formed by the original creators of Sweet Mango in Edmonton. Mini has quality food with a quick self service format and a lower cost. Has an Asian Bistro look of design and decor. For vegetarians and vegans, they have expanded their veg offerings (marked with a V) and continue their practices of creating meals properly (even in a non 100% veg restaurant). Open Tue-Fri 11:00am-8:00pm, Sat-Sun 12:00pm-8:00pm.

Excellent Options - Edit
I’ve been here twice and had a great experience both times. I brought a non-vegan friend here. He has LOTS of questions and the staff were super helpful and friendly. My friend said he was really impressed with the food and would come back again even if I wasn’t with him.

1/2 and 1/2 rolls! - Edit
I found this hidden gem in Ellerslie after coming across their menu online and seeing half and half rolls. They are a combination of salad rolls and deep fried spring rolls and were SO delicious. The pad Thai was also really very well done. The menu clearly state vegan items and they are aware of things like fish sauce not being vegetarian friendly.
Read moreIt’s a nice place for lunch and is set up a bit cafeteria style.
Pros: vegan options clearly labelled, half and half rolls!
Cons: located far South, serves meat

Delicious! - Edit
The menu clearly states the vegan options it's fairly priced. I received a warm welcome. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a two color bowl with tofu and it was super tasty. They make they own version of vegan fish sauce which I really liked. I also ordered a mango salad to go and it looks just as wonderful. I love to encourage small family businesses.

Love! - Edit
I cannot love this place enough.
Read moreWhile working in South Common I would order 2-3 times a week.
The family is very friendly and helpful.
Their food NEVER disappoints.
While going to the restaurant is hit or miss (solely because its a small space, which is also a nice change from typical vietnamese restaurants)
its a nice experience.
Very welcoming and cozy.
Gluten free and veggie options are definitely available!
Pros: Veggie/Vegan options, Gluten free options, Listed on the menu Very helpful Always delicious

Best Spring Rolls Ever!!! - Edit
My favorite dish is the 2 tofu combo bowl and the have hands down the best spring rolls ever!!! This restaurant is great. You are able to have a vegan meal and they are super careful with allergies which is not always easy for me. Creating a nightshade-free vgean meal is usually a challenge, It was no problem here!! The owner is super friendly and has gone out of her way to accommodate me multiple times!! The food is amazing!

Mini Mango - Yum - Edit
After checking out Happy Cow, i raced down to Mini Mango, and decided to place a 'take out' order.
Read moreI reasoned that the place was very nicely furnished, with modern furniture, and pleasant pictures on the wall showing Vietnamese views etc.
So because the place was quite small I just felt I didn't want to stay.
The server was very pleasant, and made sure he called customers by name when handing their orders over.
I chose vietnamese salad rolls with crispy tofu (3 per serving), also wok fried lemongrass veggies and coconut rice.
The rice and the lemongrass dish were very good, but the kicker was the salad rolls - they were delicious and quite large. Served with satay sauce there were totally 'yum'.
I will definitely get food from here again, who knows, next time I might even eat in!!
Pros: Good food, good value , good friendly staff
Cons: ?, ?, ?
