Desserts/drinks only - Edit
So disappointed, sign next to menu said "food menu no longer available"! They serve dessert and drinks only now. Tried the Hong Kong style tea which was not what I was expecting, quite sweet with not much tea flavour, but it was alright and the cream on top was nice!

No cenes aquí - Edit
Tenían buena pinta los platos para comer, pero si vas a cenar solo tienen un par de puddings blandurrios. Ademas el dependiente te mira con cara de ¿Que haces aquí? Ni siquiera es barato. No lo recomiendo.

Delicious Japanese vegan food - Edit
Small but comfortable restaurant on the lower floor of the shopping centre, with a good sized menu offering all you would like to find from typical small plates to generous sized desserts. Lovely staff, very polite as are all Japanese people. Definitely make the time to go and eat here if you are in Nagoya.

名古屋市パルコ西館B1にあります。

This is on floor B1 of the west building of the Nagoya Parco. I got the bowl of Ma Po Tofu with rice and 5 gyoza. For the gyoza you can pick from three sauces. I chose the sesame one and it was delicious and rich so I'd recommend it. The portions seemed on the smaller end, but I was full by the end despite having a big appetite.

Great meal for Christmas Eve - Edit
Trying Ming-Teng on my last day in Nagoya. Very happy with the quality, quantity and variation of flavours. Price is in line with other places around it and they seem to have a steady flow of people. A good meal for Christmas. #Veganuary

Hmm... - Edit
Maybe I'm a bit harsh cuz I expected too much. But my candid feel is too cheap taste.

Tasty & Simple Lunch or Dinner - Edit
Located in the West B1 floor of Parco, Nagoya. By subway, either Yaba-cho Station (closest) or Sakae Station (less than a 10-minute walk) will get you there. It is a busy area in the basement, with plenty of food options, including the Food Library, a higher end open-concept grocery store with many vegan choices. Ming-Teng HAO HAO is right in the hustle and bustle of the shopping area, but has a sectioned off area of tables for eating and people watching. The menu isn't huge, but what I tried was really tasty! The Shu Mai dumplings come with a choice of dipping sauces, shoyu or spicy goma. I haven't had Shu Mai in ages because they are simply not available for vegetarians anywhere else. I had the vegan minced pork rice. I like mild food, so it was perfect for me, with a nice crunch of fried carmelized onion on top. For spice, adding the goma spicy sauce is probably the way to go. My friend had the soupless noodles and was really happy with her choice. She added some of the spicy dipping sauce to the noodles, as without the soup, they do stick a little bit. We both had the sweet chai soy tea, and it was the perfect choice. I'll be back to try out the other options available. All the choices on the menu look delicious. For a simple no-frills tasty meal, this is a great spot. They have everything available for take-out as well!

Fantastic Mapo Tofu and dumplings! - Edit
Visited here on a whim while in the area and saw that it was recently opened. Thought I'd give it a try, and was impressed by how fantastic their food was.
Read moreFound the Mapo Tofu rice to be extremely flavourful, accompanied by a small soup (that I poured partly over the rice itself). I also ordered dumplings which were great, and unlike standard vegan dumplings (these were meat pieces rather than vegetables, but were really unique and tasty).
The meal was extremely affordable, the space was nice and besides a well-stocked supermarket area, and I'd highly recommend coming here if nearby!
Pros: Great range and affordable

So Tasty! - Edit
In Nagoya on a day trip and saw this opened up recently. An excellent meal and dessert, one of the best meals of my trip! We ordered Mapo Tofu and dumplings, with a pudding for dessert.
Read moreIt is located on the B1 floor of Parco, but it does have a separate seating area that removes it from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding shops.
The Mapo Tofu was so flavoursome, and came with a small bowl of soup which added to the flavour. The dumplings were also excellent, and were filled with a large amount of mock meat. The serving sizes were generous, and I was very full afterwards!
Dessert was the adzuki bean soy pudding, and had toppings including tapioca, peanuts, barley, and a sweet red bean sauce. Very interesting textures that made it very delicious!
Would definitely return on my next trip to Nagoya, and recommend others to give it a try!
Pros: Interesting dishes, Wonderful flavour
